Pros
As someone with combination skin, I appreciated that it wasn't too oily or too light. Even with my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any tingling sensation.
Cons
Right after application, it feels like there's a film on the skin, which can be a bit uncomfortable for a moment.
Tip

Pros
My acne-prone skin was really acting up when I started wearing masks, especially in summer. I felt so self-conscious about my blemishes that I didn't want to take off my mask, and without makeup, my confidence plummeted - it was a vicious cycle. I bought this product when a YouTuber I follow marketed it, but it just sat in my drawer unused. One day, curiosity got the better of me, and I tried it. The next morning, my skin looked noticeably calmer. At first, I was skeptical that it was the product, but after using it for about a week, even people around me started commenting on how my skin was improving. I have a middle school-aged sibling at home, so I started applying it on them too, and their skin also got much better. It was surprising to see them, who never puts anything on their skin, come asking for it first. Now my parents are recommending it to everyone they know. So far, everyone who's tried it based on our recommendation has found it works well for them and has seen improvement in their acne.
Cons
The hydration could be a bit better. In winter, I supplement it by applying a serum or layering toner multiple times. However, with masks being a necessity these days, using too heavy a product can feel stifling. So, during the day, I use multiple layers of toner plus this cream, and in the evening, I go with toner, serum, and then the cream.

The Hwahae Testers' Review Let me describe the texture first. When applied, it feels like an emulsion with a slight cooling effect. It's lightweight and balances oil and moisture well, so I think it would be suitable for summer use unless you have very oily skin. The product description suggests applying multiple thin layers if your skin is dry. However, there's a bit of a time lag in absorption, so if you want to apply more, it's best to do it gradually - apply, let it absorb, then layer on more. After absorption, while it doesn't feel super fresh, it's not overly sticky either, which is nice. The slight stickiness also diminishes over time as it continues to absorb into the skin.
Cons
While it seems to focus on soothing effects, when I used it on irritated skin during a bad skin day, the calming effect wasn't particularly impressive. Also, as I have combination skin, applying it on oilier areas like my nose and around the mouth felt a bit heavy and uncomfortable.
Tip
I'd say it's best thought of as a daily-use product.

Pros
My skin is extremely oily, sensitive, and prone to blemishes! Recently, I've been under tremendous stress due to a sudden increase in blemishes over the past six months. I cautiously applied a small amount of this cream, ready to unleash a torrent of complaints if it caused more breakouts. However, the next morning while washing my face, I noticed my skin felt less bumpy? It seemed like my blemishes had calmed down. So from the next day, I started applying it generously. From that day on, my blemishes gradually subsided, and now after 10 days of use, the previous breakouts have almost completely disappeared! This is absolutely amazing! I'm truly grateful to those who created this product. The only blemishes remaining on my face now are those caused by makeup residue or fatigue. I had no idea it would work this well when I started using it - it feels like I've discovered a real treasure!! Once I finish this, I'll definitely buy it again with my own money!
Cons
Perhaps because my skin is extremely oily, it feels a bit heavy on my skin. That's the only downside I can think of.
Tip
When I applied this cream after other products, it felt too sticky, so I started applying it right after cleansing my face.

Skin type: Super sensitive / Extremely dry / Acne-prone / Redness-prone Due to steroid misuse a few years ago, my skin became incredibly thin, causing allergic reactions to even slightly incompatible cosmetics. How I started using it: By chance After the discontinuation of an emulsion I had been using for over 5 years, I tried products from more than 20 different brands in search of something suitable for my skin, but failed. I reluctantly tried this product by chance, and it turned out to be a fateful encounter. Best aspects: No allergic reactions / Gentle / Hydrating Honestly, I'm the type who would vow to use a product for life if it doesn't cause hives, redness, or dryness after application. This product has been the best among those I've tried since my previous one was discontinued. First of all, I experienced almost none of the reactions I mentioned earlier!!! Many highly-praised 'gentle' products in the top rankings of the Hwahae app didn't suit me at all, but this one provided some comfort to my skin, which had been at the peak of sensitivity. Repurchase intention: If there are no issues after increasing usage, I plan to use it for life.
Cons
When I used a small amount on my sensitive skin, it felt adequately hydrating and nice, but applying more made my skin feel somewhat stuffy. For those with healthy dry skin, it might feel very hydrating and pleasant.

Being a combination skin type, I've found that creams marketed as 'hydrating' sometimes left my skin feeling a bit dry, while those emphasizing moisture felt too rich for my skin. This cream strikes the perfect balance. It's not remarkable, but I'd say it hits the sweet spot. Since I use serums and ampoules for targeted treatments, this kind of cream works well for me. It's not too much, you know? Plus, the tube packaging is great for hygiene. Knowing Acnes is a brand for blemish-prone skin gives me psychological comfort that it won't harm my skin... haha!
Cons
It can feel a bit heavy on hot days, but that's somewhat unavoidable... I wouldn't strongly recommend it for those with very oily skin. People with dry skin might find it lacks sufficient hydration.

When I apply it before bed, I wake up with a radiant glow and my skin looks amazing the next morning. It doesn't feel like it's just adding a heavy layer of oil, but rather a fresh and light combination of hydration and moisture. Since it's a gentle product focused solely on moisturizing without additional active ingredients, it's great for comfortable application without any irritation.
Cons
While the product's oil and moisture balance is decent, if you don't apply an extremely small amount, it feels greasy and suffocating. For some reason, perhaps due to irritation, I noticed scattered redness on my forehead the next morning. Please refer to my tip below!
Tip
Apply very, very sparingly! I squeeze out about half the amount that would cover the white part of a cotton swab and apply it to my entire face. Think of it as creating a thin, invisible layer on your skin.

Absorbs well One of the biggest advantages of this product is its excellent absorption! It absorbs quickly after application, so it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. This makes it great for using before makeup when you're in a rush to get out the door! Nourishing While it's a moisturizer, it feels like a cross between a cream and an ointment! I wondered if the ointment-like packaging was designed to emphasize this aspect. It feels slightly richer than other moisturizers! Also, when I apply it at night, my skin still feels hydrated and not dry the next morning, which is great! Packaging Most moisturizers come in jars, which can be unhygienic and inconvenient to use, often leading to less frequent use over time. However, this product comes in a tube, making it hygienic and easy to use! It's also portable, so it's convenient to carry around! Soothing effect I had some texture on my arms, but after consistently applying this cream, I noticed the texture seemed to decrease a bit, so I felt it had a soothing effect! Ingredients The ingredients are good, and I didn't experience any blemishes when using it, which was great!

Rich texture I prefer moisturizers with a fresh feel, but this cream feels a bit oily, which was slightly disappointing. It might feel a bit heavy for summer use. Ambiguous hydration I have dry skin, but it's not severe, so I didn't feel particularly dry. However, those with very dry skin might still feel some dryness. The product seems to balance hydration and oiliness, but in trying to achieve both, it doesn't excel at either. This made it feel somewhat ambiguous to me. While it emphasizes intensive moisturizing, I felt it didn't quite fulfill that promise! Scent I mentioned it feels like a cross between a moisturizer and an ointment, and the scent is somewhat medicinal, which was initially off-putting.
