It doesn't seem to irritate the skin much.
ConsIt's a bit slippery and I'm not sure if the moisturizing effect is that great.

The moisture content is really abundant. Just by changing the toner, my face doesn't feel dry even in front of the air conditioner, and it stays moisturized, which I really love. It's truly amazing for treating dehydration! I will definitely repurchase it!
ConsThe application doesn't feel like it's sinking in smoothly. There's a slightly tacky sensation. The texture is a bit slippery, so it doesn't leave a clean, refreshed feeling after application, which is a bit disappointing.

In the past, the Illiyoon Essence Drops worked well for my skin and I like ceramides as an ingredient, so I had high expectations. Ultimately, the Moisture Skin wasn't quite my preferred texture, but I think if I had tried it in a different season other than summer, the moisturizing performance might have felt different. ๐ In the summer, my skin is usually combination to slightly oily. I rarely experience dryness, and I prefer lightweight, hydrating products with more water content than oil. These days, I'm dealing with clogged pores, and I always get nervous trying new skincare since many don't agree with my skin. Luckily, this product didn't cause any irritation or breakouts. ๐ It's more like a thin lotion than a typical toner, but the moisturizing power is great. Just layering it twice was enough to keep my skin comfortably hydrated all day without any tightness. The description says it's for absorption rather than wiping off, and I agree that it seems better suited for that purpose. I almost feel like using a separate toner/skin and then applying this as more of a lotion would be better than using it as a skin. If I use this in the summer, I'd probably pair it with a refreshing toner/skin and just use a small amount of this on top. ๐ Although it's not quite my preferred texture, I tried using it as a body lotion and it worked pretty well. I usually go for moderately rich body lotions, but sometimes in the summer I don't want something that heavy. This could be a good option for those times. It might be a bit tricky to dispense since it's in a skin bottle, though. ๐ And I like that it's vegan and fragrance-free. Since it doesn't contain added fragrance, I was able to detect the natural scent, which didn't bother my sensitive nose.
Cons๐ First of all, the texture didn't really appeal to me. Dimethicone is the third ingredient, so that might be why it has a slightly occlusive finish. You know that slippery, slightly greasy feeling from cleansing milks? It has a similar slick, slightly tacky sensation when applied. Even if a product is quite oily, it can still absorb well and not feel too heavy on the skin. But this skin has a distinctive slippery, non-absorbing quality to it. Since it's not quite my preferred texture, I think I'll use it more as a body lotion substitute this summer rather than on my face. ๐ The name is "Ceramide Skin," but the actual ceramide content seems quite low based on the ingredient list. The overall formulation seems fairly basic. ๐ Also, it didn't have a sealed cap, which I would have preferred.
TipI'll give using it as a body lotion a try!
