A vibrant vintage red with pink undertones. This velvet formula applies smoothly and blends well when used as a base lip color or as an accent on the inner lips. It doesn't seem to stain, but the pigment remains on the lips, giving a stain-like appearance. It adheres lightly to the lips without causing significant dryness. It tends to transfer easily, and even with a thin application, there's a slightly slippery feeling on the lips. If you have dead skin cells, it won't apply beautifully, so I recommend exfoliating your lips before application. - du*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 14, 2024
A cool-toned dried rose color that's easy to wear. The low saturation and subtle hue make it versatile for everyday use. The velvety texture absorbs well on the lips. It comes off too easily and can accentuate dead skin cells. The product tends to stick excessively to the case. - sh********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2024
A classic vintage red shade that's perfect for creating a bold red lip look. It instantly elevates your style and adds a touch of sophistication. This red seems versatile enough to suit various skin tones. Since it has a matte finish, it can accentuate dead skin cells. Make sure to exfoliate your lips thoroughly before application for the best results! - Hwahae UserOily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 20, 2023
# Rom&nd • Zero Velvet Tint in Fade Red The color is truly beautiful! However, if you have cool undertones, it might appear warmer than expected and may not suit you as well... If you apply this without exfoliating first, it really doesn't go on nicely at all. Make sure to remove dead skin cells beforehand! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 19, 2022
I love muted colors, and I was thrilled that all the tints in this line have such beautifully subdued shades. When applied to the lips, it seems to appear slightly brighter than expected. So I first apply a base to neutralize my natural lip color, then layer this product on top for the perfect look. - gk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 17, 2022
A perfectly balanced red lip that's neither too vibrant nor too deep - just the right medium saturation. It's a daily red that's slightly subdued yet still lively. If you've found vivid reds overwhelming, this is a great choice. When applied thinly, it shows a hint of pink, but with multiple layers, it transforms into a red that doesn't overpower your face, giving more of an effortlessly chic look. Among the Vintage Filter line, this shade has the most saturation and vibrancy, but being a medium-toned red, it remains wearable and not intimidating. It comes off very easily, which means the staying power isn't particularly impressive. Also, it doesn't stain the lips, so it's not recommended for those who prefer long-lasting color. - gi*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2022
A muted red lip that's not too bright - perfect for achieving that modern look Hmm... The discount isn't that big. Those of us who love sales might not be able to wait for a better deal I'm wearing shade 24 for color reference! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 27, 2021
The product's appearance... simply radiant! It exudes that luxurious feel I absolutely adore. The packaging really caught my eye. While the color in the tube differs slightly from how it looks on the lips, it's still incredibly beautiful. But what impressed me most was the blending! Although it doesn't stain quickly, it's so easy to blend that even if you make a mistake, it's incredibly simple to fix. The staining power was on the weaker side. While it blended well, if it doesn't fully absorb, it can lead to transfer issues and poor longevity, which was a bit disappointing. Despite being a velvet tint, this product feels less drying, so you can apply it comfortably even without lip balm and still achieve excellent blending. Of course! If you have a lot of dead skin cells on your lips, I recommend exfoliating beforehand to ensure your lips are as smooth as possible before applying this product. - hg********Dry SkinDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 24, 2021
1. It leaves a soft, matte finish on the lips. 2. The fragrance is pleasant (though it might be a matter of personal preference - I'm not a scent expert, but it has a clean, fresh aroma). 3. The color is beautiful. (It's a slightly vintage watermelon red shade. I'm absolutely thrilled with the color!) 4. The transparent container allows you to see the tint color clearly. 5. The staining effect matches the original color perfectly. 1. It tends to transfer onto masks. 2. The amount dispensed from the container with each use is quite generous. (I've been using less than what comes out.) The shade is universally flattering, making it versatile enough to be used as a blush as well. - gr********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 8, 2021
Rom&nd just released new shades for their velvet tints, adding 4 fresh colors to the line! I tried out shade 24, called 'Fade Red'. True to the Zero Velvet Tint formula, it has a soft, velvety texture that adheres beautifully to the lips. The color payoff is instant and true to what you see in the tube. It's a sophisticated, slightly faded red that adds such a lovely mood to your look. It can definitely make your lips pop, while also brightening up your whole face. The blendable formula allows for a soft gradient effect if you prefer a more subtle vibe. Applied as a full lip, it makes a bold statement. I appreciate that they've updated the packaging too - moving away from the classic grey, which I find refreshing. The staining effect matches the original color nicely. It feels incredibly lightweight on the lips, almost like it's part of your natural lip texture. This comfortable matte formula doesn't seem to cause excessive dryness. I love how it fills in lip lines evenly, creating a smooth appearance. It starts off feeling powdery soft but quickly adheres, making for a quick and easy application. I'd be cautious recommending this shade to those with lighter skin tones, as it might appear quite deep and intense. It also may not suit those with very cool undertones. One major drawback is that it transfers quite a bit. Even after pressing it into your lips for better adherence, it continues to transfer, so I wouldn't suggest wearing it under a mask. While Rom&nd tints are praised for their application and longevity, the ingredient list isn't particularly impressive. For the sake of lip health, I wouldn't recommend using it daily. Regarding the packaging design: while the overall aesthetic has improved from previous versions, there's an odd, dusty white effect on the cap and body. At first, I thought it was actual dust and tried to clean it off, only to realize it's part of the design. The texture feels strange to touch. It seems they were aiming for a vintage filter look to match the tint's concept, but the tactile sensation is quite off-putting. Applying this tint with a smudged effect looks much prettier! It really enhances the overall mood of the look.
