I've been using this product faithfully because it claims to strengthen hair roots. My hair had been feeling weak lately, but it's improved significantly since I started using this. There's nothing bad to say. I'm completely satisfied, especially since I got it at a great price with a buy-one-get-one-free deal. - ce******Normal SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2020
I'm on my second bottle, and it's a decent product. It's not particularly bad, but there's nothing especially great about it either. Its main characteristic is that it doesn't have any standout features. It doesn't seem to help much with hair loss. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 18, 2020
The scent is completely unscented, but there's an unpleasant chemical smell. It doesn't leave any shine after application, and it doesn't feel like a treatment at all. I won't be repurchasing. The fragrance and ingredients are poor, and it doesn't seem to strengthen the hair roots at all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 13, 2019
After using it, my scalp felt refreshed and I noticed my hair texture improved. While there's no major issue with using it, the scent might be hit or miss for some people. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 30, 2019
I love this product! I have another one, but this one for strengthening hair roots is even better. I just finished my last one and bought a new one yesterday. Stock up when it's on sale or there's a buy-one-get-one-free deal! The disappointing thing is, and this applies to many treatments, I don't understand why they design the packaging like that. When you're almost done, it's really hard to squeeze out the last bit, even if you tap it. - oz*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 14, 2018
The scent is pleasant and inoffensive. It's comparable to a typical conditioner. After rinsing, your hair feels noticeably softer. The ingredients list is rather disappointing. While being 'decent' is a positive, it's also a drawback as it doesn't inspire repurchasing. Instead, it motivates you to explore better alternatives. - wl*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 8, 2018
Provides a refreshing cooling sensation while managing the hair roots! There were no particular downsides. I would recommend this product to oily-skinned individuals. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 27, 2018
I tried this product as it can care for the scalp as well. It provides a suitable refreshing sensation and keeps the hair soft and manageable. I plan to repurchase it after finishing the current one. Since using this and the Dr. For Hair shampoo, my scalp dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis have almost disappeared. It would be better if the price was lower. No other inconvenient points. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 15, 2017
I'm still considering repurchasing it... The ingredients don't seem bad, and I bought it because it can be used on the scalp as well. I like the healing feeling from the hinoki cypress scent~ It's possible to purchase it for around 6,000 won during sale periods or 1+1 promotions. It leaves a cooling and soothing feeling on the scalp. I'm not sure if it really strengthens the roots or reduces hair loss. The effect of softening the hair texture also seems minimal. - ga********Oily SkinAcne SkinJul 2, 2017
1. This is the Innisfree My Hair Recipe line, which I really love. As expected, I was also very satisfied with this product. I was concerned that I might experience hair loss at the crown area due to scalp heat, so I decided to purchase this. The ingredients are decent, and it is clearly labeled as a root strengthening product, so I had high expectations. While it's unclear if the product alone is responsible, my scalp heat has significantly decreased. The discomfort I felt at the crown area has also disappeared. I don't think the effects are solely due to this product, but seeing the label that says 'the ingredients of Jeju pine, cedar, and cypress help soothe scalp stress and cultivate a healthy scalp' makes me believe the product does have some efficacy. 2. The texture is thicker than a typical treatment for oily scalp, but still soft. So I think you can use it comfortably even in the summer. 3. It's perfect for dull, lifeless hair. The difference is very noticeable when you use it versus when you don't. Your hair becomes incredibly soft, almost like you've done a hair pack. 1. The unique herbal scent may be divisive. I personally like it, but those who dislike it really dislike it. 2. Adjusting the amount used is still tricky. It's better than the oily scalp treatment, being thicker, but it would be great if they offered a larger size with a pump dispenser.
