It's great for calming blemishes! I have sensitive skin and I'm really satisfied with this product. The downside is that there isn't much variety in shades. It was a bit dark for my complexion. - mw****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 21, 2022
This product is truly amazing, but it's becoming harder to find... Natural coverage, doesn't cause blemishes, and doesn't transfer onto masks. When it comes to products that don't trigger breakouts, this one takes the crown. It's a shame that it might be discontinued... I even reached out to Avène's headquarters about it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinMay 14, 2022
When I had a skin condition, I still had to wear makeup to make a living. I had to go to work... Life, you know? I bought this because it was said to cause fewer blemishes and be less irritating. Come summer, I started getting small pimples, and it didn't cover oily pores at all. It transferred onto my mask terribly. It might be okay in places with strong air conditioning, but it's practically unusable outdoors. - su*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2022
As someone dealing with adult acne, I was looking for products with good ingredients. While the ingredients aren't exactly top-notch, I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike other products I've tried, this one didn't cause any blemishes and my skin didn't feel suffocated. It was a refreshing change! The price point isn't particularly budget-friendly, and compared to other products, its coverage isn't as impressive. - an*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2021
(As someone with sensitive skin and frequent skin irritations, I only wear makeup for special occasions) 1. Great package for sensitive skin - Unlike other cushions, the product comes out when pressed, making it more hygienic. While cushions are often not recommended for sensitive skin, this one can be used with confidence. (Personally, for hygiene reasons, I don't use the included puff but apply it with disposable sponges each time) 2. Creates a matte skin finish - It has a nice matte finish that leaves skin feeling smooth, and doesn't transfer much to masks even without powder! 3. Brightening with decent coverage - I have a complexion that matches well with 21 Yellow Beige, and this gives a brighter look compared to other BB creams or foundations. After applying, it looks like I've put effort into my makeup! The coverage is quite good for a derma brand - while it might not cover large blemishes, it does a great job of concealing redness. 1. Unstable packaging - As mentioned in other reviews, the package can be a bit shaky or misaligned at times. 2. Caution needed when cleansing for sensitive skin - My skin reacts badly 100% of the time when I remove makeup with cotton pads. While this cushion doesn't have particularly long-lasting wear, even cleansing can be a bit challenging for my sensitive skin. If you have super sensitive skin, be extra careful when using cushion products! Either use cushion products that dispense when pressed like this one, or always apply with disposable sponges for single use only! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedDec 5, 2021
It's gentle and matches my complexion well. I have a slightly reddish skin tone, and this helps even it out. The case seems a bit flimsy. It starts to come apart when I carry it in my makeup pouch. - km****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 27, 2021
Skin type: Combination with severe dehydration, sensitive, and blemish-prone 1. Covers pores and blemishes better than expected. 2. Using shade 17-21, it's not exactly brightening but naturally evens skin tone by about half a shade. 3. Doesn't cause breakouts (main reason for purchase). 4. Less deep dryness compared to other cushions. Based on wearing a mask: 1. Medium longevity (somewhat ambiguous) Photo taken right after removing mask (without touch-ups) Significant shine, but doesn't completely break down. 2. Settles into pores. 3. 38,000 won without refill, so two would cost 76,000 won - quite pricey. Recommended for use in all seasons except summer. Suggested to apply over a brightening moisturizer with SPF. (Sunscreen is essential year-round anyway, so it's a win-win) Will likely make this a staple if it continues not to cause breakouts. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2021
I usually switch between shades 13 and 21 depending on the cushion foundation. Compared to when I used Chanel Vitalumière or Vant Blooming Cushion, which were relatively good matches for my skin, this one caused less irritation! I love that it doesn't transfer much onto my mask. The complexion looks more natural and beautiful after it's been on for a while, rather than immediately after application! The downside is that it only comes in one shade, making it difficult to achieve a brighter complexion. It's also challenging to cover blemishes!
