The shade is a perfectly radiant pink-coral that's just right. It has a slight staining effect, which makes it incredibly convenient to use on its own.
ConsIt seems this product is being discontinued... There's no stock available. Such a shame!

I have a warm skin tone, but it's closer to neutral... It's a pink shade that works for both warm and cool tones, making your face look radiant and perfect for spring. Since I have darker lip lines, I cover them with a different lip liner before applying this lipstick to make it work for me.
ConsAmong Chanel's moisturizing lipsticks, Rouge Coco Flash gives a clear, glossy 'water shine' effect, while Rouge Coco Bloom (this product) applies with a firmer texture, covering your natural lip color completely with an opaque, high-shine enamel finish. However, due to its thick consistency, it severely emphasizes dry patches when you have chapped lips, and the lipstick settles into the texture of your lips. So you can only apply it when your lips are in good condition. It's also slightly sticky. The biggest disappointment is how easily it transfers - just one sip from a cup and half of it comes off. After drinking a full glass of water, most of the lipstick is gone. The formula applies thickly and leaves messy, thick marks on cups, which makes me hesitant to use it when going out. Personally, I find myself reaching more often for Chinese brands like Pink Bear, Flower Knows, Flortte, or Joocyee lipsticks. They're more moisturizing yet transfer-proof, or have a much lighter water-shine plus oil-shine formula that's more comfortable to wear.
TipIf you're set on buying from Chanel, Rouge Coco Flash might be a better choice, but honestly, it's not really worth it. Among moisturizing department store lipsticks, I think YSL products are better.

However, this product is truly satisfying: 1. It's highly pigmented and leaves a slight tint even after eating. 2. While it can be challenging to apply if you have a lot of dead skin cells on your lips, among lipsticks, it's less dependent on lip condition and great for daily wear. 3. It gives off a coral lip vibe, but it's closer to a pink lip with a hint of coral rather than orange. It's more accurate to describe it as a pink lip with a drop or two of coral. It's perfect as an MLBB (My Lips But Better) shade for cool/light undertones, giving a pure and calm look. 4. The case is beautiful and incredibly compact, making it super portable. I often wear dresses without pockets, so its size is perfect for carrying in hand when going out for lunch at work - that's what I love most about it! 5. For red, pink, or cool-toned lips, many road shop brands (like Rom&nd) are producing great colors these days. However, I think there aren't many affordable brands that make beautiful coral shades yet. I believe coral/muted pink lips are greatly affected by formula and texture. They can easily look outdated or vintage when dry, so while I think there's no need to spend a lot on lip products these days, coral or MLBB shades are worth splurging on at department stores. It has a similar vibe to Dior's Panacea - a coral-but-not-quite-coral 'imposter'. However, Panacea leans more coral (or orange), while Mull Veil is closer to a pink lip. Considering formula, color, radiance, and convenience among all my lip products, I think Chanel Mull Veil, Dior Panacea, and Dior Lip Glow Pink are the top three that can be applied effortlessly for a bright and calm look regardless of lip condition. Among these, this one is my favorite and most-used. While I haven't tried every lip product in department stores, I've tested the most popular colors from each brand's lines over nearly a decade. I've never wanted to repurchase or truly loved a lip product until now... but I think I'll have to buy this again when I finish it!
ConsNone. The high price of Chanel is an issue, but I've often resold expensive lip products after trying them a few times and not reaching for them again. This product, however, is one of the few Chanel purchases that I'm likely to repurchase.
TipI think it looks prettiest when applied directly from the bullet and then blended out with fingers like a blurred tint. I don't usually take swatches because it's a hassle, but I've included one for reference (the actual color is well-captured in the swatch photo).

It's deeply hydrating without any stickiness, and the color payoff is excellent. It's a calm, everyday pink shade with a hint of beige mixed in. This color suits everyone, regardless of whether you have warm or cool undertones. I get excited every time I see the engraved Chanel logo on the cap!
ConsApart from the wicked price, there's nothing to fault - it's perfection itself, this Chanel lipstick.
TipInstead of applying it to bare lips, try neutralizing your natural lip color with leftover foundation from your cushion, then apply the lipstick. This will help you achieve the lipstick's true color more effectively.
