Among brown mascaras, this one applies the cleanest and makes your lashes look like you're wearing falsies! Hmm, there's nothing really. I'm just completely satisfied with it! Works great with the Shiseido eyelash curler

It absorbs smoothly and applies well. I'll need to use it more to be sure, but the color is definitely a winner. The price is a bit steep, but I bought it during a sale. It seems pretty decent! The curl is just right, and the staying power is good. What I love most is the color - it's not completely brown or black, but more of a deep burgundy shade, which I absolutely adore! Since my eyelashes and eyebrows are naturally light, this color suits me better than pure black. It's so hard to remove... It's really difficult to take off. Even when I scrub vigorously with cleansing oil, after washing my face, there's still dark staining under my eyes. So it seems you absolutely need to do a first cleanse with a makeup remover or cleansing water, or if using oil, make sure to wipe thoroughly with a cotton swab afterwards!

Previously, I used mascaras with great curling effects and longevity like Etude's Curl Fix and Clio's Kill Lash Super Proof. After being influenced by YouTube reviews, I decided to give this one a try... and it's become my go-to! The application, color, staying power, and curling effect are all top-notch! ☞ Texture and Clumping Personally, I find even Etude mascaras a bit clumpy, but this product isn't thick at all. Its lighter consistency allows for a smooth, clump-free application. ☞ Curling, Lengthening, and Longevity While it doesn't dramatically lengthen lashes, it does add a clean, subtle length. The curling power is exceptional. As someone with monolids prone to smudging, I prioritize this aspect, and I'm happy to report there's no smudging or flaking. ☞ Color This is subjective, but I love that the Deep Brown shade leans more towards brown than black. It's a perfect deep brown hue. ※ Overall Though it's a bit pricey, I'm thrilled to have found a mascara with hardly any drawbacks. It's a real game-changer! ☞ Given that mascaras need frequent replacement, the price point is a bit steep. ☞ Both a pro and a con: it's so long-lasting that you need a dedicated lip and eye makeup remover to take it off. I bought this as my first mascara on the recommendation of an Olive Young staff member! The color payoff when applied is truly beautiful, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the ethereal charm of brown mascara! It seemed to apply smoothly... I bought it with high hopes, but... It doesn't seem to give long lashes or volume. I felt like it was just a product for coloring. As you apply it, it starts to clump...

However, I was a mascara nomad, wandering aimlessly because many mascaras on the market clump... The Espoir No Smudge Mascara is truly natural and beautiful!!! And it stays put so well!!! I dare say it's my holy grail. The color has a slight reddish tint, but when applied to the eyes, it's not overly red and looks natural. It's exactly the natural shade I love, as someone who doesn't enjoy intense makeup. Regarding staying power, honestly, like other reviewers mentioned, it does benefit from using an eyelash curler. But if you curl your lashes well before applying, it doesn't smudge. Sometimes I forget to remove my makeup before working out, and my mascara is still intact... Since it's waterproof, it doesn't come off easily with sweat. The curling power is just right. It's not dramatic, but if you're someone who prefers a natural makeup look like I do, I highly recommend it. There's nothing bad to say. It's truly my holy grail... I absolutely loved how it didn't smudge and the color payoff was fantastic. While there weren't any major drawbacks, I was a bit disappointed to see it clump slightly.
