Scent: The fragrance is similar to the body wash from the same line - a non-sweet vanilla scent. It's very subtle during use and dissipates quickly after application. This isn't a product for those seeking a lingering scent. I wanted to use the whole line, but the emulsion is often out of stock, making it hard to purchase. Hydration: It's quite average. Not exceptionally moisturizing, nor is it thick or overly oily. It might be insufficient for dry skin in winter and a bit much for oily skin in summer. I think it's well-balanced for a product with medium hydration power, which is typical for most moisturizers. It should be suitable for most people otherwise. Packaging: I used it up completely, and the tube-type container was hygienic and convenient. The design is also pretty. I wish more body products from other companies came in packaging like this. Residue: It's hard to say it doesn't absorb well... it does absorb, but there's a very, very slight oily feeling left on the surface. My body skin is exceptionally good, so I usually get along well with any body product. For the first time ever, I experienced a pimple or two when I failed to control the amount of this product. (I usually apply generously, but this needed some control.) It wasn't a major blemish issue, so I continued using it until it was finished, but I won't repurchase. I wanted a body emulsion with a pleasant scent, and this one really hit the mark. The texture seems perfect for winter use. Its hydration power is quite good too. I love that it's not in a pump bottle, making it easy to use up every last drop. There wasn't anything I disliked about it. It's exactly the vanilla powder fragrance I've been searching for. Great value with a generous amount at an affordable price, and the scent is divine. The tube packaging allows for hygienic application. It lacks any real hydration. The absorbs isn't great either. That's why I'm currently mixing it with an unscented body cream that has superior moisturizing properties. It's not irritating at all. The upside-down tube design makes it easy to use every last drop. While it takes a bit of time to absorb, once it does, there's no sticky feeling left behind. The thick consistency means it doesn't spread as easily as I'd like. The fragrance is absolutely divine! It's a soft and cozy vanilla scent that's just irresistible. Well, there's not really anything bad, but if I had to nitpick, it would be great if it came in a larger size with a pump dispenser.
