It glides on much more smoothly than sunscreen, making application a breeze. My skin had a terrible reaction after using this... I only used it for about a week before I had to toss it out. What a waste! The translation maintains the essence of the original feedback while adapting it to sound more natural in English. The good point emphasizes the ease of application compared to sunscreen. The negative feedback conveys the skin reaction and disappointment more explicitly, using phrases that resonate with English-speaking consumers. - lu*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 15, 2025
White cast: Almost non-existent Texture: Love that it's not sticky! Pros: I apply it on my neck, and even though it might come into contact with accessories or clothes, it doesn't really transfer unless you deliberately rub it against them. It's not sticky and doesn't cause any blemishes when applied. I recommended it to my boyfriend (who doesn't have extremely oily skin), and he's been using it happily! While there's hardly any white cast, since it's a stick format, if you apply too much pressure when putting it on, it can clump up and look a bit like white residue. If you gently pat it with a sponge and then apply some powder on top, it resolves the clumping issue and leaves your skin feeling even more matte. - kv*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 9, 2025
The sunscreen stick is so convenient to apply with just a quick swipe. It's great to use without getting your hands messy. There's a slight inconvenience where it clumps a bit after application, so you need to smooth it out. - mi******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2025
The gentle ingredients make it safe even for super sensitive skin, and being a mineral sunscreen, it causes almost no irritation! Its stick format allows for easy, mess-free application, making it incredibly convenient for touch-ups. It maintains a matte finish without any greasiness, which is especially useful in the warmer weather we're experiencing lately. I'm not sure if it's because of the sunscreen I applied earlier in the morning, but I was surprised to see some white cast when reapplying with this sunstick 4-5 hours later. While it's not severe, there's a slightly unnatural lifting around the upper lip area, and sometimes there's a bit of residue that falls off after swiping the stick. I highly recommend this as a daily essential! You can keep it in your bag and easily apply it to your neck, behind your ears, and the back of your hands when you're out and concerned about sun exposure. - da*********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMay 29, 2025
It's super convenient to carry around and a breeze to apply. Absolutely love it! The white cast is a bit of a letdown, and it feels slightly heavy on the skin. - jh********Combination SkinAcne SkinMay 27, 2025
The soft texture allows for smooth application. I didn't experience any blemishes after using it. The sunscreen clumps up when applied over eyebrows or fine facial hair. I'm not sure if it's because it's a mineral sunscreen stick or due to its soft texture. I recommend checking for any clumped areas after application. - di******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 25, 2025
I'm absolutely serious about sun protection. If I don't apply sunscreen, I won't even open the curtains during the day. I always apply a 500 won coin-sized amount of sunscreen, no exceptions. I layer both chemical and physical sunscreens for double protection. I go through one bottle of sunscreen a month and have 10 unopened ones ready to go. My biggest concern is reapplying when I'm out. Let's be honest, reapplying over makeup is a nightmare. So I usually go out with minimal makeup (sigh... protecting my skin comes first). After months of washing my hands and reapplying the proper amount of sunscreen while out, I felt like I was developing a compulsion. So I decided to try a sunscreen stick I had bought and forgotten about. Chemical sunscreens need to be absorbed to work, leaving you unprotected for 30 minutes, so they're not ideal for reapplication. (Plus, I've already applied a physical sunscreen, so layering a chemical one on top might not even work properly on that mineral barrier.) I tried a few physical sunscreen sticks I had lying around, but they left a white cast and transferred easily. However, the Dr.G Mild Up Sun+ stick could be reapplied up to 3 times without pilling or leaving an excessive white cast. (Some white cast is unavoidable with physical sunscreens - if a product claims to be physical but leaves no white cast at all, it's likely not truly a physical sunscreen.) The downside is that, like most stick products, it contains waxes that can make your skin look slightly shiny (though it doesn't actually feel greasy). However, if you apply it about 3 times and then gently pat it with a clean puff to reduce the shine, it's perfect. It works well on both face and body, but it's tricky to apply around the ears (another characteristic of stick products). For the ears, it's best to slather on some physical sunscreen lotion before heading out. If you're worried about it transferring onto clothes, be sure to pat it in with a puff. It doesn't irritate the eyes (and I have extremely sensitive eyes), and it seems to last quite a while. If you're not sure what to buy, this is definitely a go-to product. - jt*****RecommendedMay 22, 2025
It's convenient to apply when you need to reapply periodically while you're out and about. Sometimes it can clump together, so you may need to spread it out with your fingers. - se***Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 19, 2025
The Hwahae Testers' body sunstick is a must-have when traveling. The stick format makes it easy to apply. It has been used without any troubles. Previously, a different sunstick was purchased in a hurry from Olive Young, which caused itchiness and breakouts, so the user can only use the Dr.G sunstick now. While it may leave a slight white cast when applied, it's not a major concern. The sunscreen scent is not bothersome. Although the absorption is not very fast, finding a non-irritating sunstick was not easy, so this is an acceptable compromise. I wish they would offer discounts more often. Other than that, there's nothing else. - s0**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessMay 16, 2025
It's really easy to apply and very convenient to carry around and apply on the arms and legs. It was extremely comfortable!! I used it for a day, but a few hours later, I noticed that my face had swelled up like hives and was completely distorted. However, when I applied it to my arms and legs, nothing came up, so I recommend it for those who want to use it on their arms and legs!! For those with sensitive skin, I recommend a gentler product.
