1) Excellent for soothing blemishes and calming skin inflammation When your nose or cheeks become red due to inflammation or heat, applying this calamine powder quickly calms the skin. It's particularly effective when dabbed with a cotton swab on areas where blemishes are just starting to form, providing fast relief. 2) Definitely helps control excess oil It's amazing for managing shine in the T-zone. It's like it absorbs oil like blotting paper! The light color makes it suitable as a powder or compact. I wish they'd change the packaging so it could be used that way... It would be great if they filled it with just these wonderful ingredients~ It's not very user-friendly... The powder form and ambiguous application method are issues. I tried putting it in a DIY cushion compact to use it like a powder foundation, but that made it even more awkward to use... Consider mixing it into your modeling mask... - p_******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2025
I mainly use this for pustular acne or painful red blemishes. I dab it on the affected areas with a cotton swab, and it calms the skin quickly! Personally, this product works well for me, so ever since discovering it, I've been reaching for this powder more often than ointments. If I need to soothe a larger area, I mix it with a calming cream before applying. It leaves a white cast, so I only apply it before bed. It's difficult to use before going out.. It's tricky to control the amount that comes out, so I've covered half the hole with tape to manage it better! - ap*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 3, 2025
It's a pink powder with no scent, and I got it on Coupang for 4,500 won - sometimes it's even more discounted! It really calms down areas where I've popped pimples or have blemishes. I have sensitive skin with atopy, but this causes zero irritation. It's incredibly affordable, helps remove excess oil, leaves skin feeling fresh, and even brightens the complexion - it's my holy grail! I usually mix it with my moisturizer and apply it to acne-prone areas like my chin and cheeks. Controlling the amount is quite tricky. I understand it's because it's cheap, but it comes out in large quantities. It can make your skin look too white, so I recommend using it as a spot treatment before bed or when you're at home. It's truly amazing for blemishes, please give it a try! I hope it never gets discontinued. - ju************Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 25, 2025
On my forehead, I often get small pimples or pustules due to excess sebum. Whenever this happens, I make a paste by mixing a little toner, and apply it like a spot treatment. Then, I put a patch over it and manage it that way. After doing this method, sometimes the blemishes have disappeared when I wake up, and the reddened areas have also subsided, so I'm satisfied and using it well. The container is small, so the amount looks small, but it actually lasts quite a long time. It's not a small amount at all. It's a bit difficult to control the amount, but if you're careful each time you pour a little, it works out. - ba********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 14, 2025
It has a calming effect and is gentle on the skin. It's great for mixing into your regular skincare routine. The powder particles are too large. It doesn't absorb well, and it's difficult to control the amount you use. When the bottle is upside down, I mix it with my skincare products. For blemish-prone areas, I combine it with a spot gel in higher concentration and dab it on precisely. - sa********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 13, 2025
It's truly excellent for calming blemishes!! Mix calamine, niacinamide powder, and cream, apply generously to acne-prone areas before bed, and wake up to soothed skin! The container makes it really difficult to control the amount. Also, it doesn't mix well directly with cream, so you need to dissolve it in toner first before mixing. - dl**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 20, 2024
1. For blemishes that can't be resolved by squeezing, like pustular inflammation, mixing this with a soothing toner or ampoule and applying it calms the skin quickly. 2. You can mix in as much powder as you want, and since there's a lot of product, one purchase lasts a long time. 3. The price is wallet-friendly. 1. Being a powder, it can feel drying quickly when used around the eyes or in areas prone to wrinkles. 2. It doesn't completely dissolve into skincare products, so I don't recommend using it before makeup or going out. - su****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 13, 2024
Soothing ingredients and composition - I felt confident using this product as it contains 100% calamine, which is excellent for soothing the skin. Portability - Since it comes in a small container, I could easily carry it with me when traveling. Being a powder formula, its application was somewhat limited. Mixing it with toner or essence had its constraints. Also, the powder dispenser opening was too large, causing it to pour out excessively, which was disappointing. I think it would work well as a spot treatment. I've been mixing it with aloe cream and using it as a spot treatment myself. - gy*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 19, 2024
I thought I might be getting some blemishes, so I mixed this with my usual soothing cream and applied it in the evening. At first, the powder texture made my skin look a bit cakey, and I wondered if I was using it correctly. But when I woke up the next morning, I noticed my skin's oiliness had calmed down a bit. The areas where I hadn't applied it (where I had put acne treatment) were still quite oily in comparison. The spots that were starting to look red and inflamed definitely seemed more soothed, so I applied it again after washing my face in the morning. I think it's working well! The powder tends to come out suddenly in large amounts when dispensing If you can control the amount well, try mixing it with your regular skincare products and spreading it over your face. However, if you have very dry skin, you might feel an intense tightening sensation, so stick to using it on specific areas! For those with oily skin, you might still see a bit of oil coming through, but it should be fine to use all over. - dl*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJul 11, 2024
Great for acne care at an affordable price. When used with tea tree oil, my blemishes subsided in just 4 days! Difficult to use on its own and needs to be mixed with other products. It's challenging to control the amount for each application.
