Absolutely fantastic! My skin feels so hydrated and not dry at all.

The product case seems a bit flimsy, being made of plastic. I'm worried it might break easily if dropped.

I loved the fragrance of this product and it absorbed well into my skin. I didn't experience any particular issues. It didn't cause any blemishes, and I feel like my skin condition has improved overall.

For nighttime, I found mixing it with my usual tamanu oil keeps my skin hydrated throughout the night, which works great for me.

While I like it, the scent might be hit or miss for some. It may not be quite enough hydration for nighttime use.

It absorbs so lightly! When I apply this in the morning followed by sunscreen, my skin feels moisturized all day without any stickiness. The fragrance is surprisingly sophisticated for a men's emulsion, not overpowering at all.

- As you can see in the photo, it has a thin emulsion-like consistency.
I dislike sticky or overly rich textures, so I usually prefer essence products with a fresh, hydrating feel over emulsions.
This product absorbs quickly and freshly, so I had no issues with it at all. Since I typically use mostly hydrating products, I felt I was lacking in proper oil balance. This made me think, 'This is a well-balanced emulsion that replenishes oils with a fresh and light feel.'

2. A cool, subtle masculine scent
- I usually don't care for typical 'men's skincare' fragrances.
Instead of an overpowering scent that emphasizes excessive masculinity,
this has a cool, sophisticated aroma that evokes a refined gentleman's style.
Especially, I enjoyed the pleasant lingering scent throughout the day after application.

While great for men to use after cleansing, it's also excellent as an after-shave to soothe irritated skin post-shaving.

The white color of the emulsion gives it a somewhat thin, watery appearance. I think it might have looked more sophisticated if it were colorless.

True to its name, the Essential Emulsion feels incredibly smooth when applied and absorbs quickly into the skin. I tested it both after using toner and essence, and directly after cleansing, and couldn't notice a difference. The scent is perfectly balanced - not too strong or weak - with a subtle hint of tartness that's quite pleasant. I also appreciate the pump dispenser, which dispenses just the right amount of product.

The only downside I can think of is the fragrance. While I generally prefer products with simple, pure ingredients these days, this product has a scent that might be polarizing. Apart from that, I think it's a good product.

This product offers excellent hydration that can deeply nourish skin tired from frequent shaving and external stressors like the current hot weather. I appreciated the good oil and moisture balance, with no sticky feeling, making it comfortable to use. Its superior hydrating effect, along with the inclusion of skin-friendly hyaluronic acid, was impressive. The packaging is also great - it comes in a black series that men typically prefer, and the pump-type container allows for hygienic use and easy control of the amount dispensed. The cream has a smooth application, and you can feel your skin becoming moisturized instantly with a refreshing sensation, making it perfect for summer use.

Using a hydrating toner beforehand might improve the moisture retention even more.

The scent is a bit disappointing. I don't usually pay much attention to fragrance, but this one isn't particularly pleasant. I'd prefer if it were fragrance-free.

It's a fluid-type emulsion with some great qualities:
1. Glides on smoothly.
2. Absorbs well into the skin.
3. Leaves a soft, matte finish.
4. Decent hydration retention.
5. Provides just the right amount of moisture.
6. Effectively controls oil production over time.

Just three pumps are enough to cover your entire face.

However, the real disappointment was that it contains some pore-clogging ingredients. By the third day, I started noticing blemishes popping up... If you have oily skin prone to cystic acne like me, I'd advise avoiding this. But for those with dry or normal skin types, I highly recommend it! Remember, skincare is always case by case!

I switched to this product for the emulsion step and have been using it consistently. First off, the scent is just like that classic 'oppa's skin' fragrance - you know what I mean!
