It was very good! My skin became moisturized and not dry.


The product case is a bit plastic-like, so I feel like it might break easily if dropped.

I liked the fragrance of the product and it had good absorbency. There were no particular issues. I didn't experience any skin troubles, and my skin condition seems to have improved.

At night, I mixed it with my usual tamanu oil and it kept my skin moisturized and feeling great all night.

I like it, but the fragrance might be divisive. It may be a bit lacking at night.

It has a light, smooth application and when I apply it in the morning along with sunscreen, it doesn't feel sticky all day and keeps my skin moisturized! The fragrance is also not too overpowering for a men's lotion, with a sophisticated scent.

I'll need to use it more to know for sure, but I don't see any significant drawbacks yet. As it's designed for men, those who prefer a stronger scent may want something more intense. Increasing the amount dispensed per pump could also be an improvement.

In the summer, as I have oily skin, the product has a rich texture, but it applies lightly and absorbs quickly. It's more substantial than all-in-one products. The scent is refreshing yet not overpowering, with a subtle fragrance. The application is smooth, and it doesn't feel sticky. Additionally, the volume seems generous for the price, which is a great advantage.

I wish the volume was a bit larger. It's a bit smaller than the one I was using before.

It had good absorbency and a nice fragrance. When I first applied it, it felt a bit oily, but it absorbed quickly.

In my case, my T-zone is oily while my U-zone is combination/dry. In the morning, a refreshing skincare routine is key, so I just used this product. For my nighttime routine, I applied this product only on my T-zone, and mixed it 1:1 with a richer cream to supplement the drier U-zone.

1. Opaque packaging design doesn't show product usage
- Even though I've been using it for about a week since being selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, the semi-transparent packaging doesn't allow me to check the remaining product during use, which I think could have been improved.

2. May not be enough for dry skin in the harsh winter
- I'd recommend this for men who dislike sticky textures, but for those with dry skin or very dry winters, this product alone may not be sufficient.

1. Light formula and feel that is not sticky or heavy!
- As you can see in the photo, it has a watery lotion-like feel.
I don't like sticky or overly rich textures, so I usually prefer essence products with a refreshing, moisturizing texture over emulsions.
This product absorbs into the skin smoothly and refreshingly without any unpleasant sensations. Since I typically use moisture-focused products, I actually felt like I needed a bit more oil content, and this 'refreshing yet lightweight emulsion' seemed to provide the right balance.

2. Refreshing yet not overpowering masculine fragrance
- I'm usually not a fan of so-called men's cosmetic fragrances. 
But this has a cool, sophisticated masculine vibe, rather than an overly strong, stereotypical masculine scent.
Especially during daily use, the lingering fragrance was pleasant.

It's great for men to use after cleansing, but it can also be used as an aftershave to soothe the skin after shaving.

The white color gave it a watery lotion-like feel that I couldn't shake off. It might have looked more refined if it were colorless.

As the name 'Essential Emulsion' suggests, the product is formulated to be very smooth and quickly absorbed into the skin when applied. I didn't notice any difference in the feel when I applied it after using a toner and skin, or right after cleansing. The scent that lightly brushes the nose is neither too strong nor too weak, with a slightly tangy note that passes by comfortably. I also want to praise the fact that the amount that comes out when you squeeze the tube is just right.

The only downside I think is the fragrance. I generally like mild and pure ingredients, but this product has a fragrance that may be polarizing, so aside from that, I think it's a good product.

This product had good moisture content that could fill the skin, which has been fatigued by frequent shaving and the hot weather these days. The oil-water balance was good, and there was no sticky or unpleasant feeling. The moisturizing effect was excellent, and it contained hyaluronic acid, a beneficial ingredient for the skin, so it felt clean. The case was also nice, being a black series that men tend to like, and it was a pump-type that can be pressed to use, allowing for hygienic management and adjusting the desired amount. When applied, the texture glides on smoothly, and the skin immediately feels moisturized and refreshed, so it seems like a good product to use in the summer.

Applying a hydrating toner could further improve the moisture retention.

The fragrance is a bit disappointing. I don't pay too much attention to fragrance, but this one doesn't seem particularly good. It might be better without any fragrance at all.

This is a fluid-type emulsion.
1. It applies smoothly.
2. It absorbs quickly.
3. After application, it finishes with a soft, powdery feel.
4. The moisture retention is also good.
5. It has a nice, moderate level of moisture.
6. It effectively maintains the oil balance over time.

You can spread it all over your face with just 3 pumps^^

However, the disappointing part was that there were a few pore-clogging ingredients, so from the 3rd day, I started getting some pimples...
I would advise those of you with oily and acne-prone skin like me to avoid this... But for those with dry or normal skin, I highly recommend it!!!

I have been applying it in the order of ampoule - lotion - cream, and
I switched to this product at the lotion step and have continued using it.

First, the fragrance is really like oppa's skin scent haha I'm sure you all know what I mean?
The spreadability was generally good. It absorbed well and didn't feel greasy at all!
