A semi-matte foundation that works hard for your complexion. As someone who's struggled with enlarged pores, flaky dead skin cells, caking around the nose, blemishes, and scars - essentially a 'foundation nomad' - I can confidently say I'm very satisfied with this product after trying it myself! Recently, my skin hasn't been in the best condition. No matter what base makeup I used, it would quickly look messy, with emphasized pores and patchiness. But this product was different from the start. I was particularly pleased with how easily it could be layered thinly without feeling heavy. Being a semi-matte type, it controls oil well. As time passed, the usual shine was noticeably less intense than with other products! The color also brightens the complexion, making your skin look beautiful. I definitely recommend it! The downsides are that it's not vegan, and personally, I don't like the scent. Also, due to its semi-matte nature, it can be a bit stiff. If you misjudge the amount, it's not easy to blend. The shade matches my complexion well, making it easy to even out my skin tone. It leaves a hydrating finish. I'm not sure if I'm applying it wrong, but it transfers a lot and the scent really doesn't suit my taste. The lid on the pre-renewed version is extremely flimsy. The ingredients are truly excellent and the color payoff is beautiful. It's moisturizing and there's absolutely nothing bad about it. The price point is a bit high, which is disappointing. I love how bright the color comes out. The ingredients are better than other foundations, so I felt reassured using it even when my skin wasn't at its best. It applies moisturizing, but the finish isn't too dewy, which means less transfer - that's great! The coverage is also pretty good. The only downside isn't with the product itself, but the packaging - the pump doesn't work very well.
