The color isn't dull, too yellow, or too red - it's just right for a pretty complexion Out of the 4-5 cushions I've tried, this one gives the most beautiful skin finish :: The magnetic closure that clicks shut is very convenient.
Cons:: Longevity Setting aside mask transfer issues (which happen with all products), I deliberately stayed at home without a mask, and noticed some breakdown in the T-zone when oil production increased. Since it's not a super matte formula but a hydrating one, longevity is bound to be an issue. You'll need to apply some powder to the T-zone after makeup or touch up occasionally to maintain the look :: Those seeking extreme coverage might find it lacking, as it gives a natural skin-like finish
TipI keep my skincare routine simple, apply the cushion, then lightly press powder into the T-zone afterwards. This allows for a clean and beautiful complexion.

Usually, when I use incompatible products, I immediately develop redness and blemishes after cleansing. However, this product caused no such reactions. ✔️ Enhances my natural skin tone - Gone are the days of aiming for an unnaturally light complexion. They say the best makeup complements your natural skin tone, and this product did just that. It evened out my skin tone without looking out of place or feeling heavy. ✔️ Light texture, doesn't feel suffocating - I particularly dislike heavy coverage in summer. I'd rather let my freckles show than use heavy products or even concealer. Isn't natural beauty the most attractive? This product strikes a perfect balance - it doesn't look too bare, yet it doesn't feel suffocating. I think I could use it comfortably year-round. ✔️ Simple and attractive packaging - I dislike gaudy, over-the-top packaging that quickly becomes an eyesore. This one is lightweight and pleasantly minimalist. ✔️ Good staying power - I appreciated not having to reapply multiple times. Frequent touch-ups aren't good for the skin, especially for sensitive types like me who also have to deal with mask friction!
Cons✔️ Some transfer, but that's somewhat unavoidable - It wasn't excessive though. Like most foundations, it mainly transferred on protruding areas like the nose and chin. If I had to pick a drawback, this would be it. ✔️ Slightly pricier than expected - With so many affordable foundations on the market these days, I think more frequent sales events would make this product more accessible.
TipIf you find the light coverage doesn't quite conceal blemishes to your satisfaction, try this tip: Apply a small amount of foundation to problem areas, wait a moment, then blend. You'll be surprised at how well it covers.

It was developed in collaboration with a wedding makeup artist, and now I understand why. Just a small amount gives your skin an incredible glow! ✨ Touch-ups: Excellent This cushion is perfect for frequent touch-ups, especially in this era of masks and hot weather. Even when reapplying, it doesn't cake or clump, making your skin look freshly made up every time. ✨ Puff: High-quality I love the larger size of the puff. It's thin with a great texture, making application a breeze.
Cons✨ Fixer and Powder: Essential If we ever reach a mask-free era, this product would be flawless. However, in our current situation, its moisturizing formula tends to transfer onto masks. This seems unavoidable. While the forehead doesn't need powder, I always use a fixer and powder on areas that come into contact with the mask. ✨ Staying Power: Could be better This seems more like a limitation of moisturizing cushions in general rather than a specific issue with this product. It's likely to perform better in winter than in summer.
TipUsing powder and fixer enhances longevity, reduces transfer, and helps maintain that beautiful complexion for longer. Powder recommendation: Luna Powder Fixer recommendation: Urban Decay These work great together!

The magnetic closure makes it easy to open and close! It shuts automatically, so you don't have to worry about it drying out due to improper closure. Color: I usually use shade 21 with a yellow base, but this one applies brighter. It doesn't make your face look ghostly, but rather gives a natural brightening effect to your complexion. Coverage: It's medium to high. Excellent coverage for a cushion! It conceals most red blemish scars. While not quite as good as Clio, it's still impressive. Application: It adheres thinly and smoothly. Works well with the included cushion puff. If you have a solid skincare base, the cushion blends seamlessly with your skin's natural glow, making your complexion look amazing.
ConsLongevity: To say it lasts for even a minute would be an exaggeration. It transfers to masks very easily. While there's no pilling on the first application, reapplying leads to immediate pilling. The way it breaks down isn't particularly attractive either. It's great for touch-ups over other cushions or bases, but when using the same product for touch-ups, it pills immediately, especially around the nose! Price: The full-size product costs 53,000 won... Honestly, there are many affordable cushions with good color payoff, so I probably won't repurchase at this price point. It might be worth trying during a sale, but even then, it's questionable.
TipMake sure to have a solid skincare base and apply the product in thin, adherent layers. A little goes a long way with this product, as it provides good skin coverage even with a small amount - enough to do half your face easily.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsHere's a review from one of The Hwahae Testers. I have a skin tone between 21 and 22 (I use 22 for lighter products), with melasma, uneven texture, large pores, and a yellow complexion with some redness. Despite these skin concerns, I prefer a natural coverage that evens out my skin tone. ✔️Application and Adherence ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It applies smoothly. Rather than matte, it gives a moisturized skin finish. When patted onto the skin, it adheres well. ✔️Blemishes: None ✖️ I have super sensitive skin and take allergy medication. When I was selected for The Hwahae Testers (I applied thinking I wouldn't get chosen), I was hesitant to use it. But I decided to try it for the review, ready to stop if any issues arose. Fortunately, I didn't experience any hives or small bumps. So, I experimented with it for a week, using it as both a main base and for touch-ups. ✔️Design ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The magnetic closure for the cushion compact is revolutionary. It's incredibly convenient! This is my first magnetic cushion, so I might be extra impressed, but it's so handy when doing makeup! It's a lifesaver when you're rushing to get ready in the morning and don't have to struggle with opening or closing the lid. This feature deserves a million points! ✔️Coverage ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Since I prefer natural coverage, it worked well for concealing light melasma and blemishes. However, it doesn't hide large pores or major breakouts, so it might not suit those who prefer high coverage. ✔️Color ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I usually use shade 21, which fits me well unless it's a very light product. This product in shade 21 Natural is a bit light and slightly pink. Interestingly, after patting it in several times, it doesn't look too pale. It reminds me of BB cream, which initially looks off but then adjusts to your skin tone. Still, when first applied, there's a moment of 'Oh! It's too light!' It might suit those who prefer a brighter makeup look.
Cons✔️Longevity ⭐️⭐️ The longevity didn't work well for me. It couldn't withstand the current mask-wearing situation and the heatwave. After my hellish morning commute, a lot of it had transferred to my mask, and my face looked patchy. (This might be partly due to my tendency to sweat a lot, so it's a very subjective opinion.) Fortunately, it doesn't seem to darken much over time. ✔️Price ⭐️ The price is really steep. Even though I received this as part of The Hwahae Testers, I wouldn't repurchase it at this price. ✔️I prefer a more matte finish over a dewy look, so I always set my cushion with powder. The cushion I currently use for work is from Rom*, and for touch-ups at the office, I use He*. When I apply these and set with powder, they barely transfer to my mask. But this BB cushion transfers even with the same routine. When I tried using this BB cushion for touch-ups at work like the He* cushion, it became patchy and uneven. I tried a different approach: using this BB cushion for my morning makeup (it still transfers to the mask) and then using it again for touch-ups at work. This worked better with less patchiness and unevenness. It seems you need to stick to the same product throughout. ✔️Attached photos Before use > After use > After wear

I use shade 21, and it's a perfect match for my complexion, giving a natural look. 2. It's quite moisturizing and doesn't pill or separate on the skin. 3. It covers pores well. While it doesn't completely hide blemishes and dark spots, it does a good job of concealing them.
Cons1. It's not completely transfer-proof when wearing a mask, though it's less noticeable compared to other products.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsFirst off, the adherence is great - it sits lightly on the face but does transfer a bit to masks. Still, for skin that doesn't hold makeup well past 30, it adheres smoothly and gently. The coverage is natural, which I prefer over heavy coverage that looks artificial. I applied it very thinly due to summer, and it looked effortless. Surprisingly, it didn't feel greasy or suffocating over sunscreen. As someone with dry skin prone to fine lines and foundation settling, this product struck a nice balance - not too oily, yet preventing wrinkles from being accentuated when smiling. The puff is dense, allowing for gentle application with minimal irritation. The oil and moisture balance is spot-on for me. It should work well in fall and winter when there's less sweating.
ConsLike most cushions, it does transfer onto masks. While it's meant to be natural, the shade runs quite light.
TipIt's best to apply a thin layer. You might want to use a bit more sunscreen or base product underneath!

Don't be fooled - the magnet is surprisingly strong! For best results, be careful with product amount when first using. (Give the cushion a gentle pat when you first open it to 'wake it up'!) The formula leans more towards dewy than matte. This BB cushion works well even for those with dry skin. *Coverage: Medium For those with many blemishes or hyperpigmentation, I recommend using a concealer in addition to this cushion. It covers small imperfections well! However, trying to build up coverage with just the cushion may lead to pilling or excessive transfer to your mask. Pore coverage is also medium. *Longevity: While I'm not sure how it would perform without a mask, in the current summer heat with 5-6 hours of mask-wearing, there was some pilling and shifting. However! The darkening effect was minimal!
Cons*Puff: The round shape made it a bit tricky to precisely touch up areas like the sides of the nose and under the eyes. *Transfer & Breakdown: The skin photo is after 5 hours! Due to its dewy finish, it transfers easily to masks and tends to leave imprints. Phone screen transfer is also noticeable... *Price: At over 50,000 won, it's quite pricey... While I understand the effort and quality that went into it, 53,000 won for a single cushion without a refill is on the expensive side. The price might be burdensome for students?
TipInstead of swiping, pat the product on vertically to reduce pilling and separation!
