ConsIt's a bit slippery and doesn't rinse off easily. And there's a slight stinging sensation on the skin.

ConsAfter cleansing, my skin felt a bit irritated and flushed, so while the usage experience was good, I had to discontinue using it.

That's why I recommended and gifted him a gentle, non-irritating cleansing product as a functional product. This time, he was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, so I gave it to him as a gift. These days, there are many days with masks, humidity, and fine dust, so his skin condition has been worse than usual. Troublesome blemishes have been popping up, and the combination of dust and sebum has been causing more inflammatory acne. He said the foam itself was dense and adhered well to the face, allowing thorough cleansing in every nook and cranny. Also, even though it contains 0.5% salicylic acid and IPMP, it was not at all irritating and left his skin feeling soft and clean, unlike other products with salicylic acid that sometimes stung. As a man, he wasn't the type to cleanse thoroughly, but this Neutrogena Deep Clean Acne Foaming Cleanser left no residue and had a refreshing, clean finish, which he really liked. After more than a week, his redness and bumpiness have gradually improved, and his skin is less sensitive now. He said he would buy this product again with his own money once he finishes using the one I gave him. Please let him know that he's using a great product and that I'm glad it's working well for him.
ConsHe mentioned that after cleansing, there was a slightly tight, drying feeling when wiping his face with a towel. Initially, there was no stinging during the cleansing itself, but he did experience some stinging when applying toner afterwards. However, he said that the stinging sensation went away as he continued using the product.
TipHe mentioned that he usually didn't generate the foam in his hands before applying it to his face, as men tend to find that process too much of a hassle. However, when I suggested using a foam maker to create the lather, he initially thought it was an extra step that would be inconvenient. But now, he says it's much more comfortable, and creating the rich, fine-bubbled foam with the foam maker makes for a more refreshing cleansing experience. So, for any other men out there who find it too much trouble to work up the lather in their hands and just end up rubbing the product directly onto their face, I'd recommend using a foam maker to get that bubbly, invigorating cleansing experience instead.

Also, as someone who takes cleansing seriously, I think it's important to create a really rich, creamy lather and rinse it off thoroughly. This product lathers up beautifully. And after rinsing it off, my skin feels less dry compared to other cleansers. It's not incredibly moisturizing, but it doesn't exacerbate dryness either.
ConsI started using it right after it arrived. Let me tell you about my experience day by day. Day 1: I cleansed my entire face. I rinsed it off about 2 times and then used a bar soap to wash the trouble areas again. Soon after, my face started feeling really stingy... I have very sensitive skin and have often had my skin go haywire after using certain products. So I had a feeling this might not work out either. Day 2: Remembering how stingy my face felt the day before, I decided to take a break for a day and just cleansed with my regular oil cleanser and did a second cleanse with a regular bar soap. Day 3: Since my whole face felt too stingy for a full cleanse, I just focused on cleansing the areas with blemishes, as this product is supposed to help control acne-causing bacteria. Luckily, it didn't sting as much when I only used it in the problem areas. Overall after 2 weeks: This product just doesn't seem to suit my dry, ultra-sensitive skin type. The main thing I was hoping for from this product was its ability to control acne-causing bacteria, but I'm not sure if it's actually helping with that or if my skin issues are just due to the high stress levels and environmental factors I've been dealing with. I'll need to use it a bit longer, especially now that I've also changed my sunscreen, to really see the effects. I'll update more if I have anything else to add!
TipI'd recommend first trying to use this product only on the troubled areas, and if that goes well, then you can consider using it for your full cleanse.
