It has a slightly fresh scent of black tea, with subtle notes of faded paper or wood. As time passes, a smoky aroma develops, adding depth to the fragrance. The smoky scent that emerges in the dry-down phase came across as a bit acrid to me, which was somewhat disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 5, 2022
The fragrance is amazing... It has a slight scent of sun-kissed mate tea, haha! The lingering scent is lovely too. After spraying it on my wrist and letting some time pass, I find myself unconsciously bringing my nose close to smell it again and again. Surprisingly, it's not a polarizing scent either. There's nothing particularly bad, but one friend mentioned it smelled a bit like cigarettes to them! I recommend trying a sample before purchasing. - 87*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedAug 28, 2022
- Charred Mate Leaves - True to its name 'Mixed Emotion', it's quite something... The heavy tea scent that rises is pleasant, but then suddenly it transforms into a burnt ash powder smell, making it challenging... Is this what they mean by a complex scent? Yet, I find myself wanting to smell it again and again as it seeps in. It's complicated... They really nailed the name. To cut to the chase, I'm a fan. My sibling says it's the best tea scent they've experienced so far (and wants me to get it for them). My mom says it smells like cigarettes. It starts with a weighty mate scent, without any sweetness. It's as if well-roasted mate leaves were charred - there's a hint of ash-like smell, but calling it smoky woody doesn't quite capture it. There's an indescribable, mysterious fragrance. It's like an amber scent with a pinch of oriental notes. Sometimes it smells like tea, then it shifts to a cigarette-like scent, and just when you think you might not like it, you catch a whiff of sweet tea mingled with cassis... It's like alternating between a cold and hot bath. I can't quite put my finger on it. Strangely addictive fragrance Downsides? None really... If I had to pick something, I'd say it's an incredibly deep scent - x_*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 21, 2021
Many people say it smells like black tea, but I find it a bit more bitter and sweet. When first sprayed, there's a smoky scent reminiscent of pollution or cigarettes, but it's balanced by the sweetness of blackcurrant, giving it an addictive charm. As the scent develops, the smokiness fades, replaced by a refreshing pine note that seems to have a calming effect. While I've seen a lot of negative reviews on international sites, I don't think it's such a polarizing fragrance. However, given its price point, I highly recommend trying it before buying! Some Korean fragrance enthusiasts do dislike it, associating it with cigarette smoke. The price is the main drawback. However, even though I use this as my main fragrance, I don't feel like I'm going through it quickly. It lasts about 8-10 hours on my skin, which is decent. The bottle is beautiful, and the spray works well, so I don't have any other complaints. If you spray it on the front of your neck, you'll be able to smell the fragrance more often than you might expect. I usually apply perfume to the back of my hands, but since it's winter and I need to use hand cream, plus with COVID-19 requiring frequent hand washing, I've been spraying it on the outer part of my wrists instead. - od*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 26, 2021
This fragrance starts with a slightly bitter note that transitions into a sweet lingering scent. It's reminiscent of black tea, yet there's also a hint of sugar... It's quite intriguing! Rather than being delicate, it has a somewhat stronger scent. It might be more suitable for someone looking for a bolder fragrance profile.
