Purchased on a pharmacist's recommendation for strengthening the skin barrier. 1. Instant hydration boost It's like a splash of water for your face! Feels like your skin is drinking up moisture, leaving it refreshed. The hydration is different from the forced slipperiness of hyaluronic acid. 2. Pores seem to calm down There's a sense of soothing, comfort, and settling of angry-looking pores. 3. The ingredient list looks manageable No weird names, and I find myself reaching for it casually. At this rate, I might use it up quickly! 4. Texture: Absorbs quickly despite expectations I thought it would be sticky, but it absorbs rapidly with no residue - my skin drinks it all in. The finish is smoother than just fresh-feeling. 5. Seems to have minimal or no preservatives 6. Fragrance-free, no noticeable scent from raw ingredients Overall: Nothing extraordinary, but surprisingly good After finishing, I might try other products but will likely come back to this It's given me insights, but I'd like to find a more affordable alternative with a similar feel To be honest, I was disappointed when I first opened it at home... When you hear 'barrier strengthening,' you expect a heavy cream, but this was a gel! The tube design looked amateurish, the ingredients seemed unremarkable - nothing special. 30ml for 10,000 won? Felt overpriced and I even considered returning it. Despite this underwhelming first impression, I've grown to appreciate its charm with use. However, the main drawback is the price-to-volume ratio. I'm sure there must be equally effective products out there with more generous amounts at a lower price point, if only I knew where to look! Lately, I hadn't been feeling inner dryness, so I wondered if my skin was becoming oilier... I was stressing over silicone oils, acne-causing ingredients, exfoliation issues, etc. When I went to a dermatologist, all they said was 'Keep your skin moisturized'... How helpful! Everyone keeps talking about oil-water balance... But what exactly does that mean? This product seems to have answered some of my skin concerns. The answer for me was: my skin lacked hydration. And by hydration, I don't mean that sticky, thick moisturizing feeling... It's more like your face is drinking water - ample and fulfilling. I realized my skin had been like a desert all this time. Oil-free, water-based soothing gel -> Seals in moisture after absorption - ye*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJul 29, 2023
This product was recommended to me by a pharmacist when I had severe acne. It's gentle and has a great texture for summer use. I didn't see significant results for my acne-prone skin, and I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin. It might be effective for teenagers with oily skin - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2023
We use this as a multi-purpose product in our home. It works as a toner and essence after cleansing, and even helps with mosquito bites. Highly recommended! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's a staple item I always keep stocked up. - oy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 28, 2023
This product is amazing for folliculitis! My face was covered in tiny bumps, but after getting this recommended at my local pharmacy, I saw results in just a day or two. The bumps gradually disappeared. Now I use it preventatively around my eyebrows after grooming, where I used to always get irritation. It works wonders! If you're not a fan of herbal scents, you might not like this. Personally, I don't mind it. However, it is quite pricey for the amount you get. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 14, 2023
I tried this based on a pharmacist's recommendation. The texture absorbs well, and there's a subtle soothing sensation. The relatively high price, along with the herbal scent, might be off-putting for those who dislike traditional medicine smells. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2023
I have atopic dermatitis and extremely dry skin, so my doctor recommended this product. I've been using it for a few months now. It absorbs well into the skin and provides great hydration. After using it for several months, I haven't noticed any dramatic improvements in my skin. It still feels dry, and I don't see any brightening effects either. - gh*****Oily SkinAcne SkinJan 20, 2023
As someone with acne-prone skin, I noticed that after applying this product, the redness subsided and even my inflammatory blemishes calmed down a bit. The scent isn't particularly pleasant, and it's a bit disappointing as an acne treatment. It seems to only provide a slight soothing effect. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2023
Every morning, I apply Yeskinol to my face instead of an emulsion. It's gentle and suits my skin well. I think it's even effective for blemishes. Before using this, I used to apply just about anything carelessly, but now when I use other products, my face feels heavy and uncomfortable. There wasn't really anything disappointing while using it, but if I had to pick something, it would be the amount... The volume is too small compared to the price. I'm not someone who applies a lot to my face, just a little bit in the mornings, but it runs out after just a few days of use. - ki***********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2022
It's great that it's reasonably priced, and when I apply it before bed, my blemishes calm down by the next morning. It's the best acne treatment I'm using right now. While it does soothe the skin, it doesn't seem to completely eliminate the blemishes. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2022
As someone with super sensitive skin, eczema, and adult atopic dermatitis, I was really stressed when contact dermatitis suddenly flared up. But after using this, it almost completely calmed down! It's not cheap, but I'm willing to keep buying it regardless of the price. It's that good for my skin. Sometimes I mix in a couple of drops of ampoules from other brands when I use it.
