It feels gentle when applied and the fragrance is lovely! It might be a bit rich for oily skin types. I used it alternating with another shampoo! - Hwahae UserDry SkinNov 25, 2022
I love the refreshing grapefruit scent, and it's great that my hair feels soft and not stiff even when I use just the shampoo! While I generally like it, I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't last very long, and my hair tends to get oily relatively quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 24, 2022
I bought this product on my hairstylist's recommendation. It's silicone-free, causes minimal irritation, and doesn't cause tiny bumps on my forehead. Unfortunately, it didn't work well for me. My scalp started to smell quickly, and my hair became oily faster than usual. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 11, 2022
The mild acidity seems to leave a moisturizing effect, making hair look less frizzy. The fragrance is delightfully pleasant! It really lifts my mood when drying my hair. I'd be more likely to repurchase if the price was a bit lower. For those with oily scalps, it might lead to greasiness quite quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 25, 2021
My scalp gets along well with just about any shampoo! This one definitely feels gentler than other shampoos. It's like it cleanses softly? My scalp doesn't get dry at all! I love the subtle, refreshing grapefruit scent. However, it does rinse away completely. The cleansing effectiveness is on the milder side, so it might not be ideal for oily scalps. If you're looking for a lingering scent after drying your hair, you might find this product a bit disappointing! It doesn't lather up too much, so doing a pre-wash before the main shampoo makes it feel even more refreshing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2021
The grapefruit scent is lovely. It's suitable for everyone from kids to adults. It's an acidic shampoo, which is great for those with dry hair. It feels gentle on the scalp. People with oily hair might find it makes their scalp greasy quickly. The fragrance doesn't last very long. Those with oily scalps might need to use a mint shampoo to effectively remove excess oil. Since I have an oily scalp, I first use a lightweight shampoo for oily hair, then follow up with this grapefruit shampoo. My 9-year-old daughter has dry hair, so she's still using it well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 18, 2021
1. The subtle scent is a plus I personally dislike shampoos with strong fragrances. They can feel harsh on my lungs and airways. But this one strikes a perfect balance - it's not completely scentless, which would make me feel like I haven't washed my hair, but it's not overpowering either. The unique grapefruit scent is refreshing and doesn't smell medicinal. 2. Ingredients + Price This is truly top-notch in my opinion. It's sulfate-free, and I've never seen this quality at this price point for this volume. While there are some competitively priced products emerging, this one still stands out. For modern lifestyles where we wash our hair every day or two, we don't need harsh cleansers. This gentle formula allows for frequent washing without worry. 3. No oily residue Some shampoos left my hair getting greasy quickly, which was stressful. But with this one, even after skipping a wash for two days (oops!), my hair still felt fresh and light. It's amazing! (For those with very oily scalps, try washing twice. The gentle formula and reasonable price make this totally doable. I do this on particularly oily days and it works wonders.) 4. Soft hair with just shampoo I'm not a fan of using conditioner, so it's great that this shampoo leaves my hair feeling soft on its own. I just follow up with some coconut oil, saving time and effort. I chose this product to grow out my curly hair nicely after quitting heat styling, and I'm loving how it's taming my frizz and improving my overall hair texture. I can't think of any downsides for me! For reference, my hair is dry, but I'm not sure about my scalp condition. When I used regular shampoos, my scalp would often get oily, but that's not an issue with this one. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 27, 2021
The ingredients are excellent. The fragrance is lovely, and it lathers well. The price offers good value for money. It leaves a bit of oiliness behind. For reference, I don't have an oily scalp. It can make my hair feel slightly stiff. It's best to work up a rich lather in your hands before applying it to your hair. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 11, 2020
The unique ingredient of grapefruit water gives it a delightful grapefruit scent. It seems perfect for when your scalp feels dry. I think I'll reach for it more often as the weather gets colder. I haven't used it many times, but it seems to reduce hair tangling. After using the shampoo bar, my hair felt a bit stiff, so I alternated with the grapefruit water shampoo. Using it alone makes my scalp oily pretty quickly, haha! Using it in combination with a shampoo bar makes washing my hair much more comfortable. With just the shampoo bar's lather, my hands and hair feel quite stiff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinApr 2, 2020
The grapefruit scent is lovely, and the generous amount makes it great value for money. The ingredients are also gentle on the skin. I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp, so I'm constantly switching shampoos like a nomad, hoping to find one that works. I really want to settle on a product. Unfortunately, 1. Even after rinsing thoroughly, there's still a slippery feeling left behind. 2. Despite washing my hair, it gets greasy again quickly. (I haven't been using it for long, but I'm seriously wondering what to do.) 3. Oil builds up so fast that I end up skipping conditioner, which is making my hair condition even worse. Please note that this is my personal experience, and results may vary for others.
