The grapefruit scent is subtle and pleasant, not overpowering at all. The rich, creamy lather makes hair washing a breeze. As someone with permed hair, this grapefruit shampoo completely flattens my curls. The Bamboo Mint version was great for maintaining curls, so I'm puzzled by the difference. Despite claims that the grapefruit shampoo is for damaged hair and provides hydration, it actually causes that typical curl-loosening effect you get when your hair lacks moisture. It also makes my hair limp and lifeless, like it's too well-behaved. To be fair, this effect is mentioned in the product description. On the plus side, compared to the Bamboo Mint, it doesn't leave any residue on the scalp while still cleansing effectively, which I appreciate (it feels gentler on the scalp). When choosing a shampoo for curly or permed hair, it's important to consider products that maintain curl definition and provide adequate hydration. I bought this shampoo after seeing it used at the hair salon! I've been mainly using anti-hair loss shampoos due to some thinning and excessive shedding. But with this shampoo, I felt like I was losing less hair. It lathers up nicely with rich foam and has a pleasant scent too. There wasn't really anything disappointing about it! It feels like I just stepped out of a salon! My hair is soft and light. When I blow dry, it seems to style even better. There's nothing I particularly dislike about it. My hairstylist recommended this low pH product, and I love the grapefruit scent! It's a reliable shampoo that's easy to use. It has great cleansing effectiveness and produces more lather than average. I used to be a shampoo nomad due to scalp blemishes and dead skin cells, but I've finally settled on this one! It's a bit thinner than regular shampoo, but I don't find that to be a problem. If you're concerned about scalp flakes, try this: Instead of using lukewarm water, wet your hair and scalp thoroughly with slightly warmer water. Then shower first before shampooing. This will definitely improve your scalp condition. Great for people with dry scalps. The grapefruit scent is lovely, and it lathers well. The price is reasonable for the amount you get. For those with oily scalps, it doesn't seem to eliminate the odor completely. The musty smell tends to linger.

It feels gentle when applied and the fragrance is lovely! It might be a bit rich for oily skin types. I used it alternating with another shampoo!

If you thoroughly wash the crown, nape, and behind the ears, your hair stays clean and odor-free for the day Feel: Even with damaged hair, there's minimal tangling after rinsing, leaving hair feeling soft Seems unavailable in offline stores. Must be purchased from online retailers. Not recommended for extremely oily scalps.
