The Repolycl Anti-Aging Hair Tonic is developed in collaboration with the director of Serin Clinic, which operates a stem cell research lab. It contains 25,000ppm of umbilical cord-derived stem cell culture medium and is a patented hair growth stimulant and scalp care tonic. While I don't have blemishes, my scalp is dry, and I have very fine hair. My hairline is slightly receding in an M-shape, and the part in my hair is particularly weak. My skin isn't super sensitive, and I recently recovered from perioral dermatitis. I used the tonic every night or every other night to maximize usage. The application is easy as it's a non-sticky liquid that doesn't leave residue and finishes cleanly with just a small amount. It contains menthol or mint, giving a cool, refreshing sensation on the scalp, which I find pleasant. The small size makes it convenient to carry, and it doesn't need to be washed out, making it suitable for someone like me who tends to be lazy with skincare routines. Regarding effectiveness, while major results aren't visible after just two weeks, I've noticed a reduction in dandruff caused by dry scalp. Although I don't have hair loss issues, I typically shed quite a bit, and it seems to have decreased slightly. I'll update on this aspect after longer use. Lastly, I was concerned about potential irritation due to my recent recovery from perioral dermatitis, but the high-quality ingredients caused no irritation whatsoever.
ConsThe scent is somewhat disappointing. There's a slight alcohol-like smell, possibly due to the menthol. While not overpowering, it's a bit bothersome. Also, applying too much can lead to pilling, potentially requiring you to rewash your hair. I recommend applying small amounts frequently or using it before bed.
TipGiven the modest quantity, I suggest applying it generously to areas like the part where the hair is thinner, and then lightly over broader areas. Follow up with a scalp massage - it feels refreshing and seems to enhance the effectiveness.
