It absorbs well into the skin. The absorption seems to be quite good. There's really nothing to complain about. I can't think of any downsides.

As someone with sensitive skin, I was pleased that it didn't cause any blemishes and worked well for me. Hmm... I'm not sure. It's affordable, but I can't really say I noticed anything special.

Based on my experience using 200 sheets of these, the best part is definitely the price! It's perfect for a daily mask routine. I wasn't expecting any miraculous benefits, just something to cool down my skin and provide hydration, so I'm even more satisfied with this product due to my low expectations. If you just need to reduce skin heat and add some moisture, this is a solid, no-frills option for your daily mask routine. The price is so reasonable that I used them liberally, and I noticed my makeup applied much better afterward. As someone with blemish-prone skin, I've tried expensive masks claiming to help with blemishes, but simply applying this mask for 5 minutes to cool down my skin and then gently patting it in was more effective. The benefits I mentioned earlier seem more like the general advantages of a daily mask routine rather than specific to this product. I had no complaints due to the price, but after checking the ingredients on the Hwahae app, I'm a bit concerned. While the texture was fine for my blemish-prone but non-sensitive skin, those with super sensitive skin might find the mask material a bit rough. Instead of leaving the mask on for 15 minutes, I found it more effective to wear it for 5-8 minutes, then remove it and gently pat my skin until the essence is fully absorbed. Following up with a moisturizer (I use Physiogel) resulted in noticeably improved skin texture the next day.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few ingredients that aren't great for the skin. Personally, I always avoid cosmetics containing phenoxyethanol because they tend to be drying. This mask is no exception. After wearing it for about 10 minutes and removing it, you need to reapply moisturizer as the skin feels quite parched. It's disappointing that one mask alone isn't enough for complete care. While you might not feel instantly hydrated right after use, the next morning after a light cleanse, makeup applies smoothly. The best part? You don't need to layer on tons of skincare products to keep your skin from feeling dry until evening. I usually leave sheet masks on for about 20 minutes, but with this horse oil mask, my skin starts to itch and tingle if I leave it on for more than 10 minutes. I've had to cut down to just 5-10 minutes, which is disappointing. The ingredients might not be suitable for my super sensitive skin. Pro tip: Always store your sheet masks in the fridge for a refreshing, cooling effect!
