After switching to this sunscreen due to breakouts from other brands, I noticed a significant improvement in my blemishes While there weren't many downsides, the slightly higher price point is worth mentioning - rl*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 31, 2025
I don't think the Medicube sunscreen made my blemishes better or worse. If I had to find a positive, I'd say it doesn't leave much of a white cast. It pills... On days when my skin is in good condition and I've done a thorough skincare routine, it sometimes applies without pilling. But more often than not, it pills. That's why I've stopped using it before makeup. Also, it makes my skin look quite greasy. I probably won't repurchase it. - fh**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 26, 2025
I've been using this for 3 years, and it's wonderfully hydrating. It instantly brightens my complexion as soon as I apply it. There's not really any major downside, just be careful not to apply too much. - eh*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 4, 2024
It's great! I can't really find any downsides. I personally love how rich it feels. It's good. There aren't any drawbacks. It's a solid choice for everyday use. - le**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSep 5, 2024
To be honest, there weren't many positive aspects... It's disappointing. It's excessively sticky and doesn't apply evenly. The color is patchy and unappealing. I'm reluctant to use it... If you're planning to use this before makeup, I strongly advise against it. I've stopped using it altogether. - ag*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessSep 4, 2024
The rich texture makes it suitable for winter use or for those with dry skin. It's too oily, which has led to folliculitis requiring dermatological treatment. Not recommended for oily skin types. - al********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedSep 2, 2024
Well, the good thing is that after applying this sunscreen, I didn't experience any new blemishes... The price is an issue, and even though I have dry skin, when I apply it and go to work, I notice a bit of oiliness on my forehead and around my nose... - yb********Normal SkinRecommendedAug 16, 2024
This is my holy grail sunscreen... It's non-comedogenic, and amazingly, my skin felt calmer while using it. I'm not sure about its effectiveness as a sunscreen... Other than that, I can't think of any particular drawbacks. - nr*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresAug 13, 2024
The best thing is that it's non-comedogenic, so even those with blemish-prone skin can apply it without worry. It doesn't absorb particularly well. You need to let it sink in for about 30 minutes after application. Right after applying, it really sits on top of the skin, leaving marks everywhere... Even after absorption, it seems to leave a bit of a white cast, so I'm planning to use it only at home. - jy*******Dehydrated SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 24, 2024
It's moisturizing, has a nice bouncy texture, and absorbs well. The balanced blend of organic and inorganic ingredients gives a slight brightening effect, making it perfect for a bare-faced look. I just apply this when heading to the gym. When I apply foundation over it, my pores become more noticeable as time passes. I thought it might be due to my skin condition, but it keeps happening. I'll have to use it only for bare-faced looks. Despite having combination dehydrated skin, it leaves my skin quite oily after 3-4 hours. It's really great for workouts or when you want a natural look for quick outings. I also use it as an alternative when I get tired of purely organic sunscreens or find them too irritating.
