This is honestly the best cushion I've ever used. I've tried cushions from Shiseido, Armani, YSL, MAC, and many other brands, but nothing fits as perfectly as NARS. I have extremely oily skin in midsummer and combination-dehydrated skin in other seasons, with a tendency towards dryness. I've been struggling with hormonal imbalance for about a year and a half, which caused my skin to break out. I've been taking Yaz as prescribed and dealing with the aftermath. This cushion is incredibly hydrating without being greasy. And the coverage? It's top-notch. I've been using Estée Lauder Double Wear for nearly a decade, but since my skin flared up, it's been too drying for me lately. This NARS cushion not only covers blemishes well but also applies thinly while being super moisturizing. The staying power is impressive too. When my skin was in better condition, this made it look even more flawless. It truly works hard to enhance your complexion. The price... as expected, it's quite expensive. But that's typical for high-end department store cosmetics brands. Whether you have oily or dry skin, you can use this cushion effectively if you apply a well-matched base or sunscreen underneath! - so*********Combination SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2020
Living abroad, even shade 23 became too light for me, so I switched to this color. The staying power is quite good, and I've been using it well for two years now. I always pick it up at duty-free shops and department stores. Since I apply it very thinly, it lasts longer than expected. If there's one downside... it's that the case gets dirty easily. I wish they would sell the puffs separately. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 28, 2020
It feels moisturizing and comfortable, perfect for daily use Unfortunately, the staying power isn't great when wearing a mask - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMay 17, 2020
It's so moisturizing, perfect for my dry skin! This is my go-to product every winter. Unlike most foundation brands that tend to have a slightly off color for the sake of 'brightness', I'd recommend this if you're looking for a shade that naturally blends with your skin tone and just need blemish coverage. For reference, I have a darker complexion year-round! However, in summer... due to the humidity, it's a bit challenging to achieve a matte finish on your face, as it can look overly dewy. That's why I usually use it as a foundation replacement in winter. Since I don't typically do touch-ups throughout the day, I notice some darkening after lunch at work. Great for those with dry skin, especially in winter! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2019
When I'm tanned, I use NARS foundation in Syracuse, and I switch to this one as my tan fades. Pairing it with a bronzer like Laguna creates a seamless, natural look without any noticeable difference between my face and neck. It might appear a bit floaty at first application, but it settles beautifully onto the skin over time. The way it wears throughout the day is absolutely gorgeous. I apply it in the morning and only need to blot oil in the afternoon - the staying power is impressive. No darkening either. I'd recommend this for those who need a shade slightly darker than 23. The price... While I appreciate the smaller quantity, it feels a bit expensive. If only it were in the $30 range... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 2, 2019
It's incredibly moisturizing and matches my complexion perfectly, making my makeup look natural. I usually use shade 25, and this fits my overall skin tone really well. There wasn't anything I disliked about it. It's the cushion foundation I've liked the most so far. If you want to brighten your complexion with makeup, you might consider going one shade lighter. For me, with my slightly tanned skin tone, it was perfect for a natural makeup look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 11, 2019
Even though it's 24-25, I found it quite nice. It's lightweight and hydrating. The dark shade is Kim Soo-yong dark, so apart from that, it's not bad at all. I'm planning to try Double Wear too, though I'm not sure which shade to go for. Well, the coverage? While it's moisturizing, I'm quite disappointed with its coverage. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 3, 2019
I used to use Estée Lauder foundation! I have extremely dry skin with deep dryness, and since I work long hours, my T-zone and forehead tend to get oily. The Estée Lauder foundation was too matte for me. I was looking for a product that's both hydrating and matte, and the NARS cushion is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it! The downside is that the amount is so small that I have to buy a new one every month. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2019
Great coverage, long-lasting, and a clean, matte finish - this one hits all the right notes. The sleek case is a bonus too. (I actually bought the holiday red edition because it was so gorgeous.) True to its reputation, it provides excellent hydration. I blindly purchased shade 23 after hearing it was 'Greenland', but I ended up looking like a yellow ox. While it worked for my redness-prone skin, it was just... not right. I strongly recommend testing it in-store before buying. Also, the amount seems too little. For someone like me who wears makeup daily, it barely lasted two months. The red case started collecting fingerprints and lost its appeal. The case's click mechanism? Totally inconvenient. Highly recommend buying in-store. Don't just assume 'I'm shade 23, so this will work'. It'll make you re-evaluate whether your skin is as captivating as Lee Hyori's or Hyolyn's. As for the case, stick with black or the floral pattern - they're better options. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 14, 2019
The way it settles is so pretty! It applies beautifully around the sides of the nose, covers pores well - I'm on my 3rd or 4th compact already. Sigh... To be honest, Greenland is a bit darker than my skin tone, and the shade above this is too light. I don't like looking too pale, so I use the slightly darker Greenland, but I do wish there were more shade options. The amount of product is also a bit on the low side. In winter, when my skin got a bit lighter, I switched to using Alaska. (My skin tends to be on the darker side) The NARS cushion puff doesn't seem very moisturizing, so I use a Missha cushion puff instead. It applies the makeup beautifully with a dewy finish.
