  Pros

  I bought this to layer over various hydrating and barrier creams, as my skin still felt dry inside and moisture seemed to evaporate quickly. When applied as the final step before bed, my skin definitely feels less dry in the morning. It has a smooth application, and despite being from the Intensive line, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't feel as rich as I'd worried it might.

  Cons

  1. When applied during the day, it causes makeup to break down faster. It clearly has more oil content than just using hydrating or barrier creams alone. 2. The Intensive line rarely goes on sale, and at full price, it feels somewhat expensive for the amount you get.

  As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to seborrheic dermatitis, I love that this has just the right amount of richness. One application is enough to keep dryness at bay. Even when my skin is super sensitive, I can apply this cream without any tingling sensation.

  Cons

  I think this might be too much for those with extremely oily skin. I have oily skin myself, and it's still working well for me so far.

  I started using this product because my dead skin cells were very noticeable every time I applied makeup. It became an essential item for me before applying makeup in winter. When applied, it felt like it coated my skin and boosted hydration.

  Cons

  As someone with oily skin, I found this product too rich for me. I always applied it before makeup, and while it did prevent dead skin cells from showing through, it made my skin very greasy. After removing my makeup, I would always find one or two small blemishes where I had applied the cream. This aspect was disappointing.
