  I started using this product because my dead skin cells were very noticeable every time I applied makeup. It became an essential item for me before applying makeup in winter. When applied, it felt like it coated my skin and boosted hydration.

  Cons

  As someone with oily skin, I found this product too rich for me. I always applied it before makeup, and while it did prevent dead skin cells from showing through, it made my skin very greasy. After removing my makeup, I would always find one or two small blemishes where I had applied the cream. This aspect was disappointing.

  Absorbs smoothly with an instant feeling of hydration and richness. When applied in small amounts before makeup, it creates a great base. As someone with deep dryness, I felt it really addressed that issue. It seems to create a thin protective layer on the skin with just the right amount of oil, which helps maintain moisture. I loved how it made my skin feel hydrated.

  Everything about this product is great, except it just doesn't agree with my skin. It was so effective at combating deep dryness that I initially ignored the occasional blemish and kept using it. Unfortunately, this led to a major breakout, and I had to reluctantly give up on this product with a heavy heart. I suspect it might be due to the shea butter ingredient (I always get blemishes from products containing shea butter). Such a shame...

  Tip

  Those with skin that doesn't tolerate shea butter should avoid this. Also, those with oily skin should definitely steer clear.

  I appreciated that it's fragrance-free, so there was no aversion. Initially, it felt slightly rich, but since my skin is very dry, it absorbed quickly, making it great for simple hydration.

  Cons

  Especially during these times when we have to wear masks, and particularly in summer, the area around my mouth became very oily, causing small blemishes to appear. Since I have super sensitive skin, this might just be my experience, but I think it's best to use this only for hydration in fall and winter, avoiding sweaty or humid days!
