This is the sun cushion I'm currently using. It applies smoothly and doesn't leave a white cast, making it easy to use. However, it has a moderate rich feel, so it might be a bit heavy for those with oily skin. Oddly enough, after using this cushion, my face starts to itch. So I'm trying to use it up quickly by applying it on my arms or the back of my hands. While it's probably typical for sun cushions, the puff feels quite large, which might contribute to this issue. It also seems to wear out quickly, so I'll likely switch to a sun stick in the future. The product appears to have good absorbs well and doesn't leave a white residue, making it suitable for most skin types. However, those with sensitive skin might experience irritation. The cushion format may not be as long-lasting or precise in application as a stick format, which could be a consideration for future purchases. - bu******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2025
As someone with super sensitive, blemish-prone skin, I meticulously checked the ingredients when buying this sun cushion, making sure to avoid the two main components that sensitive skin types should steer clear of. I was pleased to find that it didn't cause any eye irritation, skin irritation, or redness - making it safe enough even for children to use. It's incredibly challenging to find a mineral sunscreen cushion, but those of us with sensitive, blemish-prone skin really need to use mineral sunscreens to prevent our faces from heating up. This was the aspect I appreciated the most. It gives the skin a slightly dewy, moisturized look, so I carry it with me over my foundation. Instead of touching up my makeup separately, I just reapply this sun cushion throughout the day. I thought the large cushion would be an advantage, but while it's convenient to use, it's not as portable as I expected. It takes up too much space in smaller bags, and it feels a bit cumbersome to take out and reapply when you're on the go. When applied to bare skin, it gives a dewy glow, but this shine actually accentuates pores. It's not that it sits on top of the skin, but rather it's like it puts a magnifying filter on your pores, making them more visible... like some kind of magic? To avoid this, don't pat too much on at once. Instead, use small amounts and build up gradually. - wg********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 21, 2025
I've been using this for nearly three years, and I absolutely love it! It provides excellent sun protection too. The puff gets dirty quickly. Also, there's not much product, so you run out fast. - db******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedApr 15, 2025
It's wonderfully hydrating. There's a slight cooling effect that's quite refreshing. The wide cushion surface makes application a breeze. There's a bit of shine that some might find excessive. The large size can make storage a bit tricky. When you apply makeup over this sun cushion, it gives a brightening effect similar to a whitening cream. - ka**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedApr 10, 2025
I've been using this for about a month! With summer approaching, sunscreen is a must-have! While I apply sunscreen in the morning, I heard you should reapply every 2 hours. But your hands can be dirty and it might ruin your makeup. That's where this sun cushion comes in handy! It even has a slight cooling effect, which definitely helps reduce skin heat. The only downside is that at first, you need to press quite firmly to get the product out. Overall, I've had a great experience using it! No real cons! It might feel a bit bulky in your makeup bag, but that's because it's a generous size. I think it's great for sun protection and cooling down your skin whenever you feel overheated! - gy*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 2, 2025
I love how gentle and generously sized this product is, making it easy to apply. There's a nice cooling effect, and I appreciate that it doesn't leave much of a white cast. It feels quite rich and doesn't seem to wash off easily. The oiliness might be a bit too much for hot summer days, leaving you feeling greasy. - qw********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedFeb 22, 2025
Absolutely adorable. The cushion puff is fantastic - love how big it is. The generous amount of product is a plus too. It doesn't brighten the complexion well. The puff absorbs too much of the sunscreen... it gets damp quickly. - be********Combination SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2025
The large cushion allows for quick and speedy application. I love that it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. The scent is quite unpleasant to me, but I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if it's just my product. - f9********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRednessOct 1, 2024
When applying, I thought it was fine because the puff was large and moist. I used it because it claimed to have passed low-irritation and sensitive skin tests. However, by evening after application, my skin became bumpy and red, like contact dermatitis, and I suffered for several days. - le*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 21, 2024
I love that it's big enough that you don't need to pat your face many times. When you first apply it, you can feel a nice cooling effect. It's hydrating and seems to provide good sun protection too. It feels a bit greasy, so I'm less inclined to use it on hot and humid days. Also, I wish they included a few extra puffs with it.
