The texture feels like thin mucus, and when applied, it absorbs just the right amount of hydration. It might feel slightly sticky right after application, but after about a minute, your skin feels plump and bouncy without any residue! It was fine to use on its own during summer, but now it's a bit challenging (which is understandable..). However, when used with the moisturizer from the same line, it gives a perfect hydrated feeling that I really like.

I picked up the Balea Aqua Serum from DM in Germany! The price was so affordable that I stocked up on several bottles. It's wonderfully hydrating, comes in a lightweight container, and is perfect for on-the-go use. Unfortunately, it seems my skin doesn't agree with it. I have combination dehydrated skin! Known as 'su-bu-ji' in Korean. When my face lacks hydration, it's like an oil explosion... And that leads to blemishes too, ugh! Then, while ordering a cleansing water from a German site, I happened to try this product~ (By the way, I'm allergic to squalene, which is in most hydrating essences, so I avoid them... but this one didn't have it! That's why I gave it a shot...) As soon as I used it, it perfectly balanced my combination dehydrated skin! The excess oil stopped appearing~ Usually when I apply cream, it feels like it just sits on top, but with this, when I apply it and then layer other products, it feels like they're absorbing while my skin becomes moisturized... I could feel my skin gradually improving, even those tiny bumps disappeared... After discovering this, I got so many compliments on my skin for about 3 years~! Ah... I should have stocked up more As you can see in the photo, it's been recently renewed! I thought only the packaging had changed, but when I squeezed out the product... Wait, what? It used to be almost transparent... Now it's white? Huh? That distinctive scent is barely there? What's going on...?! Still, I thought, 'It can't have changed that much' and applied it. The product that used to absorb instantly now just sat on top of my skin And a few hours later, oil explosion! Blemish explosion! I had recently changed another skincare product too, so I didn't realize it was because of this one, I stopped using that other product and continued with this one for a few more days. My skin condition got worse and worse... When I went to the dermatologist, they said it was contact dermatitis... Why did they renew my holy grail product? My skin tends to be sensitive and dry, but this product absorbs well without any pilling or deep dryness. It's a solid choice that I'm using comfortably. I didn't realize it contained fragrance... A serum that's perfectly focused on hydration - no more, no less. This serum is universally loved by those around me, regardless of skin type - sensitive, acne-prone, oily, or dry. Everyone uses it without any issues. (Currently residing in Germany) The inclusion of fragrance might be a concern? It makes me a bit uneasy... However, the scent isn't overpowering or strong. In fact, for those sensitive to smells, having a light fragrance might be preferable. For best results, mix a bit of vitamin C powder with one pump of the serum, apply it to your skin, and then follow up with a sheet mask. The absorption, hydration, and overall application are all excellent! It could work well as a serum in winter. Even now in summer, using just this serum alone is perfectly fine. You can purchase 30ml for about $4 through direct overseas buying, which is great value for money. Its impressive hydration makes it ideal for dry skin, while its lightweight, oil-free formula should suit those with oily skin too. I didn't have any issues using it. However, I've noticed it contains two potentially harmful ingredients. This might not be suitable for those with super sensitive skin.
