I apply it preemptively to areas like my chin, philtrum, hairline, forehead, and cheeks where I tend to get blemishes, especially around that time of the month. It doesn't completely prevent breakouts, but it definitely reduces them and helps them calm down faster.

The Cica Balm didn't cause new breakouts and helped calm them down without leaving scars. Of course, it didn't make the blemishes disappear overnight, but it prevented them from getting worse and helped them subside gradually. Recently, I even got a painful, invisible-to-the-eye blemish in my nostril, and applying it morning and night really seemed to help it calm down. For me, this product was more about prevention and soothing than rapid spot-clearing.
