  I bought this modeling mask when it was trending, and I absolutely fell in love with it. I used it almost daily during summer. I usually spend a lot of time outdoors, and I was worried my skin would melt in the heat, but after using this mask, my quality of life improved by a million levels! I'll definitely buy it again. I love it, I really love it. When summer comes, I'll be stocking up for sure!

  Cons

  The only tricky part is getting the water ratio right... but that's on me. You need to adjust the ratio for each product, but this one doesn't clump even if you add more water. At first, you should add water little by little and see how it goes. I made the mistake of adding too much initially, and it just ran right onto the floor. Trust me, you need less water than you might think.

  Tip

  I've heard some people mix in toner or ampoule when using this, but personally, I think it's better to apply those separately and let them absorb before using the modeling mask alone. This mask has an incredible cooling effect and is super refreshing, so if you're like me and your face tends to get hot easily, this is an absolute must-try!

  The cooling effect is amazing! I've tried about three other Lindsay lines, but honestly, whether I used the collagen modeling pack or the vitamin one, I didn't feel much difference on my skin. I've been using them mainly for the cooling effect, and this Lindsay Cooling Balm is my favorite among all I've tried so far! It doesn't necessarily tighten pores, but I don't like when my skin feels hot, and the cooling sensation is truly noticeable.

  Cons

  It seems to run a bit more than other lines, but that might just be my imagination...? Also, while it's cheaper, the amount is smaller, so for someone like me who uses it daily, I might need to buy the larger size.

  Tip

  Don't expect the modeling pack to work like other masks. It's best to think of it as a way to soothe your skin and lock in all the skincare products or ampoules you've applied beforehand, preventing them from evaporating. If you have a skin type that dries out quickly, try layering on lots of ampoule, hydrating cream, aloe, etc., then place a disposable sheet mask or gauze on top before applying the modeling pack for even better results.

  The cooling balm is truly refreshing. It's not so intense that it feels uncomfortable, but it's effective in reducing skin heat. However, it's so cool that I recommend using it in summer. Since it's winter now and too cold, I plan to repurchase when summer comes.

  First off, this delivers the most extreme cooling effect of any modeling pack I've ever experienced. In summer, just applying this makes you feel refreshingly cool. I thought it might even be good for those with swelling or minor injuries - that's how intense the cooling is! I highly recommend this to anyone seeking an ultra-cooling effect. My skin type is combination dehydrated with redness and excess sebum, and winter heating is a nightmare for me. You know how it is - looking in the mirror on your way home, seeing those bright red cheeks... But after using this and peeling it off, the redness is noticeably reduced. Plus, it leaves your skin smooth and glowing! I strongly recommend this as a must-have item for locking in moisture after your skincare routine, especially for those with combination dehydrated skin.

  Cons

  The texture is quite runny. The instructions say to mix it at a 1:0.9 ratio, but it drips if you apply it that way. I recommend mixing in a bit less of the liquid. Also, it has a distinct minty scent like a muscle pain relief patch, which might be challenging for those who dislike such scents.

  I use this modeling pack as the final step in my skincare routine, after toner, serum, and either ampoule or sleeping mask. It definitely makes my skin feel firmer and seems to help the previous products absorb better!

  I used it with a hydrating ampoule I bought together, but the mask itself became sticky and didn't set easily. It kept dripping, making it difficult to control. It was hard to remove cleanly, and if it stuck somewhere, it wouldn't come off easily. You need to be very careful when using it. You're better off using tea tree instead...

  I tried the Cool Tea Tree and heard the Cooling Balm was even more refreshing, like having an AC on your face, so I bought it. Wow... the cooling effect is really fantastic! It also makes my skin feel firm and supple. As someone with super sensitive skin, I've decided to stick with using modeling masks regularly instead of going to the dermatologist. I think this will be my new go-to product.

  Cons

  The powder flies everywhere... If I mix it vigorously, it scatters all over, but if I do it gently, it's frustrating. If I add less water to mix, it doesn't work well either. Oh, and since glucose is the first ingredient, it tends to run and drip a lot.

  Tip

  I usually apply this after using retinol! Or lately, I've been using it frequently with LED light therapy, and it works wonderfully when used together.

  I was about to try the single-use Lindsay modeling mask from Daiso, but the Hwahae price was so good that I'm glad I bought the large size instead. It really helps to reduce the heat sensation on my skin.
