It provides a slight brightening effect, perfect for a quick application before stepping out bare-faced. It's quite hydrating, and being a mineral sunscreen, it has gentle ingredients and doesn't sting the eyes.
ConsIt can clump a bit when applying, so you need to spread it out with your hands. Personally, I don't find any major drawbacks... I'm considering repurchasing.

Doesn't cause blemishes You might think that since it's a solid sunstick, it would feel heavy on the skin and potentially cause acne or itchiness. However, this product doesn't feel suffocating at all, and it doesn't make me itchy either. I don't think I've ever had any blemishes from using this. Titanium dioxide, which is a physical UV blocker, is known to be a gentle ingredient. 2. Relatively transparent It doesn't leave a strong white cast. When applied, it makes the skin look slightly smoother and brightens the complexion, which is great. 3. Doesn't pill over makeup Since sunsticks are meant for reapplication, I tried applying it over foundation, and it didn't pill, which is fantastic. When you glide it on over makeup and gently pat it in, it gives your skin a slightly dewy look. Among the sunsticks I've tried so far (AHC, Skinfood), this has been the best.
ConsWhile it's not severe, the tip of the stick tends to crumble slightly. I think it's because it's not completely solid. Also, probably because titanium dioxide is a physical sunscreen ingredient, if you accidentally scratch your face, it leaves a slight white mark.
TipAt first, I found the sunstick so convenient that I applied it carelessly without a mirror, but I noticed it left a lot of white powder-like residue. Make sure to gently pat it in after application.
