I was curious about the cherry blossom scent, so I decided to give it a try. The body wash has tiny flower petals inside, making it visually appealing. The fragrance that fills the bathroom during use is absolutely delightful. After an evening shower, when I slip into bed, the subtle scent continues to waft up with every rustle of the covers, helping me drift off to sleep in a pleasant mood. (I was slightly concerned that the petals might clog the drain, but they easily break down and dissolve when lathering with a shower puff, so there's no need to worry.) Although it's marketed as a low-pH body wash, I didn't notice a significant difference in hydration compared to other regular body washes after showering. If you're purchasing this solely for its moisturizing properties, you might feel a bit disappointed.

It's not just a few petals - the container is packed with real cherry blossom petals (apparently 25 flowers worth)! It's made such a lovely addition to my bathroom shelf, adding a perfect pop of pink to my decor. This Cherry Blossom body wash is pH-balanced, which is a first for me in body washes, though I've used many pH-balanced facial cleansers. I'm hoping this means my skin won't feel dry after showering. The pump dispenser is so much more convenient than my previous squeeze bottle that always left a mess. When you pump it out, the flower petals come along - it's just beautiful! Don't worry, they don't leave any residue. The texture is a familiar gel (like aloe vera), and it lathers up nicely, especially with a loofah. The fragrance is quite strong and long-lasting, sometimes smelling like cherry blossoms, other times like cherries. It seems to depend on my mood! (Even in summer when perfume can feel stifling, I could go out after just a shower and still smell delightfully scented!) Knowing it's from a top 10 bath brand gives me confidence in using it. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the ingredients list is slightly disappointing, especially considering how many products with great formulations are available these days.
