This cream is widely used in esthetic salons and is a must-have for fall and winter! When the indoor temperature is warm, it has a sorbet-like texture with a touch of melted oil. It absorbs beautifully and is the ultimate champion of hydration. Above all, the scent is absolutely divine - it's so healing! When applied around the eyes, it feels like there's something in your eyes all day, so I avoid using it near the eye area. The price is also on the higher side. It's best to apply carefully around the eyes due to the potential for discomfort! - kk*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 7, 2024
This cream is fantastic as a winter moisturizer! I've gone through more than two tubs already. Even if you have oily skin, there are times in winter when the cold wind can make your skin feel sensitive, and this cream is perfect for those moments. When I apply it before bed, I wake up with incredibly soft skin. I'm really loving this cream for improving my skin texture! There's not really anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the large size can be a bit overwhelming, while the smaller size is somewhat pricey for the amount you get... - je********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 22, 2024
I love it! The scent is pleasant, and the hydration is satisfying. Really good stuff! I tried a sample and then bought the full-size product, but the texture is different... What's going on? - fu*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 22, 2024
The cream has a thick, ointment-like texture, but it melts easily and spreads smoothly on the skin. It seems like it would be great for hydration when the cold winds of autumn and winter blow. There's a scent to it, which I personally enjoy. Those sensitive to fragrances might find this product disappointing. It also contains some potentially harmful ingredients. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2023
This product is absolutely amazing! Due to my super sensitive skin, I usually can't use most nourishing creams. Recently, even my go-to skincare products were causing dryness and irritation. I tried adding hydrating ampoules, but it was hard to find suitable products, and even when I did, my skin would fluctuate between better and worse. I originally ordered Pyunkang Yul products to try their BB cream, but the sample Mandarin Balm and Wine Gel gradually restored my troubled skin to its normal state. At first, I only used the Wine Gel, which provided sufficient hydration in summer, but now during the changing seasons, I find the Mandarin Balm works better. Both products were effective - even scabbed blemishes showed significant improvement overnight. After using them for about a week, the skin on my cheeks has become noticeably smoother. The only potential drawback might be the price, but the product's effectiveness makes it worth every penny. Besides, I believe using just one of these products is sufficient, so it's not excessively expensive in my opinion. I recommend applying small amounts multiple times rather than one thick layer. The product spreads easily and absorbs well, so a little goes a long way in providing hydration. - ms*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 13, 2023
It's gentle and really helps calm my skin. If only it were a bit more affordable, I'd love to buy it regularly. The ingredients and absorption are great, but it's a bit rich for summer use. Since I prefer lighter products when I'm out, I mainly applied it at night. When my face felt parched or got red from cold winds, I'd apply a thick layer before bed, and it really helped with hydration and soothing. The price... It's quite expensive for the amount you get, so I couldn't apply it as generously as I'd like. As the product name suggests, there's a subtle mandarin scent, which might bother those who prefer fragrance-free products. I've bought Pyunkang Yul's BB cream several times and received lots of samples. I always take it when traveling. When my skin acts up due to changes in water or environment, I apply this before bed. It helps calm my skin, making it a travel essential. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2022
The fragrance is lovely. It absorbs well, and as someone with dry skin, I found it incredibly hydrating. I love that I can use it on both myself and my baby. I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types as it feels a bit rich. Also, if you're not a fan of strong scents, you might want to skip this one as the fragrance is quite intense. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 20, 2022
I developed some blemishes during my vacation, but I had this sample and applied it. It calmed my skin down, so I bought the full-size product! After using the full-size product, I felt like it didn't suit my skin. It feels quite rich and oily. I usually prefer unscented products, but this one has a dried orange peel-like scent. It didn't bother me, but those with sensitive noses might want to pass on this one! - ya********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 15, 2022
I received a sample from my regular salon and applied it to an area where my atopic dermatitis was flaring up - it calmed down quickly! The texture is like an ointment-cream hybrid, but with a fresh scent and it absorbs well. It feels light when first applied, but seems to tackle deep dryness effectively. I'm not usually a fan of citrusy scents, but the mandarin fragrance isn't overpowering, so it's quite pleasant. Those who dislike mandarin scents might have mixed feelings about this product. For areas with dead skin cells and deep dryness, gently roll the product on, then press it in with your palms to warm and absorb it - the results are amazing! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJan 13, 2022
This is the cream they apply to your face at the end of an esthetic treatment. It has a strong mandarin scent, which might be hit or miss for some, but I absolutely adore it. In fact, I loved the fragrance so much that I asked what cream it was and bought it for myself. If you're a fan of citrus scents, I guarantee you'll love this. The texture initially feels quite rich, almost to the point of being oily, but it absorbs into the skin beautifully. It's made with such gentle ingredients that even pregnant women and babies can use it safely. For those planning pregnancy, I'd recommend using it on both face and body. First off, the price is pretty wicked. Because it absorbs so well, you tend to apply a bit too much on your body, which means you go through it faster than expected. I thought 500ml would last forever, but at this rate, I'll likely finish it before this winter is over. Given its large size, I decant some into a separate container for facial use. It's not ideal to keep dipping your fingers into such a large jar. For body application, I'd recommend getting a separate pump dispenser to portion it out more hygienically.
