The color payoff is excellent. It has impressive staying power. It doesn't come off even after eating. It doesn't transfer onto masks. Creating a natural gradient is challenging. The packaging and name feel a bit outdated. - qu*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinJan 15, 2023
The staying power seems great! I was looking for a long-lasting tint, and this one really does last as long as advertised! For me... it doesn't seem to suit my skin. On days I apply it, my lips experience a burning sensation, itching, and extreme dryness. The color was nice and the pigmentation was good. When applied to the lips, it created a harmonious effect that was quite unique. Being a water tint, its staying power was somewhat lacking.

I've always been loyal to staining tints, so I was super excited. I chose a color that immediately caught my eye. I thought it might taste like mala tang, but it's more of a cool, refreshing sensation on the lips. The most important thing is how well it stains, so I tested it on the back of my hand. After about 30 seconds, I wiped it with cleansing water, and it had already stained! If you don't produce a lot of saliva, this tint's staining power means you won't need to touch up for a long time. The application is smooth and moisturizing, which I love. It sets almost immediately, so after blotting with a tissue, you'll see the true color of the stain. You can get it for around $7 at Lalavla, so check it out! Oh, and I recently received a famous vegan cleansing balm as a gift. I tested its removal power on this tint, and well... I'll show you the results in a photo. You absolutely must buy this! If you blot it right after applying, you might think your gums are bleeding... You need to let it dry a bit first before blotting. Apply, let it dry, apply again, let it dry...

I was tired of velvet tints and wanted to try this again after a long time. I love how it applies with vibrant color payoff, smoothly covering even the upper lip. The staining effect maintains the true color, which I really appreciate. Due to the water tint formula, you'll need to wipe the cap frequently as the liquid tends to leak when opening and closing repeatedly. Unfortunately, the typical drawback of water tints - the drying effect - is unavoidable.
