When my problematic skin has issues like milia, pustules, inflammation, etc., it tends to break out a lot. But if I apply and manage the products properly, they all disappear.

As claimed by Serum Kind, the grape fruit extract's resveratrol helps soothe troubles, the PHA helps exfoliate, and it also has whitening and moisturizing benefits.

From my actual use, my skin texture has become really smooth, likely due to the exfoliating effect.
I didn't quite feel the trouble-soothing effect. (I haven't been getting many pimples lately..._)

The texture was very light and moisturizing when applied. After application, there was no particular reaction, and it was just an ordinary product.

The effect was not as good as I had expected, considering the price I paid, and the amount is small.

Not only for dry skin, but it also does not make oily skin look shiny or greasy when applied! It can be used as a base makeup like a toner, and the face stays smooth and soft all day long.

The key tips for effective whitening are:

1) Drink 2L of water daily, 2) Do sweaty workouts, 3) Go to bed earlier, 4) Eat less oily foods, or 5) Eat more vegetables.

Incorporating at least one of these habits during the period you use the whitening product should help enhance the results. I personally tried all of these and saw good improvements within a week.

I'm someone whose skin becomes oily in the summer, so I actually felt this serum was moisturizing enough when I just used a toner/skin and this serum. However, those with non-oily skin types might find it drying, especially in the winter.

Hmm, some might be hesitant about the liquid? color. I personally think it's fine, but I tried to consider how others might view it.

First, the appearance design that reminds me of Shine Muscat(?) and the overall liquid color were pleasing to me! Surprisingly, there is no scent! It's not completely without viscosity! It's definitely not a watery formulation. I heard this product has a whitening effect, and while I did feel some effect, it didn't make my complexion significantly brighter. However, you should know that no whitening product, no matter how strong, can dramatically lighten your complexion. If such a product existed, it would be sold out immediately and everyone would be using it, right? Anyway, my take is that this product gave me a more radiant (not brighter) complexion! Actually, asking for a review after just one week of use is... a bit strange. It's unrealistic to expect an immediate brightening in just one week. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but I think after about a month of use, I'll be able to see a clearer, more luminous complexion!
However, if you really want to achieve a clear, radiant complexion, try doing at least one of the following: 1) Drink 2L of water daily, 2) Do sweaty workouts, 3) Go to bed earlier, 4) Eat less oily foods, or 5) Eat more vegetables. There was no surprisingly noticeable skin improvement effect, but over the course of the week, the blemishes on my forehead seemed to disappear one by one, though I'm not sure if it was just a coincidence.

It has a just-right viscosity, not too watery or thick. I can easily dispense it with the dropper and spread it quickly. Some serums are as thin as toners, making me doubt if they can really function as serums, but this product has the right consistency.

When it first arrived, the packaging was so thoughtfully done, and I was touched and took a photo, but the photo is gone now. 🥲 Anyway, when the initial packaging looks nice, it puts me in a good mood!

I skip the toner and just use this serum and the Dr.G moisturizer, and I've never felt my skin tightening or drying out. As a 'dry' skin type, I think this serum provides sufficient moisture! These days, I'm trying to minimize the number of products, and this serum and the moisturizer are just perfect.

🔺No Oiliness
You can say the oiliness is almost zero. There's hardly any sticky or greasy feeling.

🔺Absorption
It absorbs quickly with just a few pats. In the summer, I tend to gravitate towards lighter products, and this is almost like one of those.

 Although the Hwahae Trial Reviewer experience has ended, I think this serum will continue to be a go-to for me for a while. I have a lot of serum-type skincare products at home, but lately, something has been lacking with them. This one mixes well with my other basics and applies nicely before makeup too! These days, I use this product after the Rovectin Skin Essentials Cleanser, and finish with the Esthetica Terracne Soothing Cream, and it leaves my skin feeling very moisturized and great!

 One slightly disappointing aspect would be that it was difficult to feel the serum having the advertised effect of calming down blemishes, and the thin, watery texture means it gets used up a bit more generously.

 Just the fact that it didn't make things worse is satisfactory, and the moisture level is just right for a summer serum!

I was able to apply it without any irritation, so I didn't have any skin troubles.
After applying the toner, it leaves a plump, moisturizing feel.
When I finish with a moisturizer, it provides excellent hydration.

If you're not dry-skinned, you can layer the essence twice to keep your skin moisturized without needing the cream!

As I mentioned earlier, it doesn't provide a sense of deep hydration. It feels like it's just sitting on the surface of the skin rather than being absorbed deeply. While it's not sticky during application, there is a slight tackiness after it's fully absorbed. However, I've noticed that with serums and ampoules, there's often some darkening of the skin right after application, and this product was no exception. Also, since the packaging is glass, you included styrofoam during shipping to prevent it from breaking, but you could probably reduce the amount of that.

I'm a minimalist vegan with dry skin, so I tend to minimize what I apply to my face. The biggest advantage of this product is that it's vegan. It's gentle. This was my first time using a serum, and it didn't feel as heavy as an ampoule. It flows like water and absorbs quickly. However, despite the watery texture, it doesn't feel highly moisturizing. The scent is a faint green grape aroma. After it's absorbed, it's almost fragrance-free. This serum can be applied before a sunscreen without pilling, and the subsequent steps are not burdensome. It's a great lightweight serum for summer.
I'm also glad that you included samples of other products along with this one.

If you have dry or dehydrated skin, you could try applying a moisturizer or adding a few drops of oil along with this serum, and that should help!

Price: 38,000 won for 30ml is not the most affordable price... It might be a bit burdensome for students.

Another slight downside is that there don't seem to be any standout benefits.

It's good to apply it occasionally to areas with a lot of dead skin. I apply it daily to the troublesome elbow area with a lot of dead skin, and it's much better to care for than body lotion. Is that an obvious statement...?

Dry, combination, and dehydrated skin
Until now, I've been applying toner, lotion, and moisturizer in that order, but even after a few hours, my skin still felt dry (I used the expression 'dehydrated feeling') and I was thinking of getting an ampoule or serum, when I was selected for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program and was delighted.

I cleansed my face with the essence toner and was very satisfied when I first applied the serum. The thin formula allows me to spread it widely and quickly. Whereas before, even after applying three steps up to the moisturizer, my skin felt like it had layers upon layers, when I massaged in the serum, I understood what it meant to eliminate the dehydrated feeling. It has a nice, sticky feel to it.

Ah, you also used corn starch cushioning materials for the delivery! I was pleased that it's an environmentally-conscious product.
