I used to apply toner, emulsion, and moisturizer in that order, but even after a couple of hours, I still felt dry (people call it 'deep dryness'). I was considering getting an ampoule or serum when I was lucky enough to be selected for The Hwahae Testers - what a joy! After cleansing with an essence toner, I was incredibly satisfied when I first applied the serum. Its lightweight texture allows for quick and easy application. While previously applying three layers up to the moisturizer felt like just piling on product, massaging in this serum made me understand what it means to eliminate deep dryness. It has a pleasant, rich feel to it. Oh, and I noticed they use corn starch packing materials for shipping! It feels good to use a product that considers the environment.
ConsWhen you open the lid, there's a refreshing green grape scent. However, as soon as you apply it to your skin, the fruity fragrance disappears and is replaced by a medicinal smell, like antiseptic. If you put a few drops on a cotton pad and observe, the green color remains until the end. For a moment, I thought it might be artificial coloring. I was relieved to learn there are no harmful ingredients, but I suppose this initial scare could be considered a downside.
TipIt works well when applied occasionally to areas prone to dead skin cells. I use it daily on my troublesome elbow area, and it's much better for care than body emulsion. Is that stating the obvious...?
