[ My Skin Type ] I have problem-prone skin that's susceptible to closed comedones, pustules, and inflammation when my skin condition is poor. However, with proper application and care, these issues clear up completely. [About the Muscat Clearing Drop] It contains 80% green grape extract and 2% PHA. Serumkind claims that the resveratrol from green grape extract soothes blemishes, PHA exfoliates dead skin cells, and it also brightens and hydrates. From my experience, it definitely smooths out skin texture, likely due to its exfoliating properties. I couldn't confirm its blemish-soothing effects (since I haven't had any breakouts lately...). ☆After using 1.5 bottles, it's effective in preventing closed comedones. ☆It addresses deep dryness and provides hydration. The brightening effect seems less prominent based on the ingredient list. The texture is slippery. It absorbs well, but hair tends to stick to it. It has quite a few hydrating ingredients high up on the list. If you can tolerate the stickiness, it's decent as a hydrating serum. However, I only use it as a first serum right after cleansing, applying a thin layer, as layering it multiple times might cause pilling. Summary: A slippery, exfoliating, hydrating grape serum that can address deep dryness. [ Serums I'm Currently Using ] My beloved Nature Republic Vita Pair Serum. It's the best for brightening and fading blemish marks. With no purified water and high concentrations of lemon extract and brightening ingredients, you can feel the effects after just one bottle! I use the Muscat Clearing Drop casually. Bought 2 with a 1+1 deal. I ended up buying a ton of Serumkind mini kits too because their packaging is so pretty....lol... [ Recommended For ] Those who don't exfoliate separately. It's better for exfoliation and hydration rather than brightening. Not recommended for those with low skin absorption (it might not sink in well). For a blemish care serum, it's quite slippery and sticky. Even though it seems to absorb completely, hair still sticks to it... +Pros Addresses deep dryness Good for closed comedones +Brightening effect? Not so sure. - 10*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

After application, I didn't experience any adverse reactions. It's a fairly standard, no-frills product. As mentioned earlier, its very ordinary nature might be a drawback for some. Those expecting remarkable results may be disappointed. Also, I'd recommend avoiding this if you're sensitive to fragrances. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I love that you can apply it like a toner during your basic skincare routine. It keeps your face feeling fresh and matte all day long. The effects weren't as impressive as I had hoped, considering I was ready to buy it again. Also, the amount you get is quite small. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Surprisingly, there's no scent! It's not without viscosity though! To be clear, it's definitely not a watery formula. This product claims to have a whitening effect, and from my experience, it's not entirely unfounded! However, it won't dramatically lighten your skin tone. It's important to note that no whitening product will be powerful enough to significantly change your foundation shade. If such a product existed, wouldn't it be constantly sold out with everyone using it? Anyway, with that in mind, I found this product to be more about clarifying (o) rather than lightening (x) the skin! To be honest, asking for a review after just a week of use is... well, expecting instant clarity in a week is... strange, right? It might be just a feeling... But I think after about a month of use, you could see a clearer complexion! However, if you want to really feel the effects of clearer skin, I suggest 1. Drinking 2L of water daily, 2. Doing sweaty exercise, 3. Going to bed early, 4. Eating less oily foods, or 5. Eating more vegetables (even just one of these). Doing so might help you see more definitive results for a clearer face..^^ As someone with oily skin that becomes extremely oily in summer, I actually found this serum moisturizing enough when applied after just toner/skin. However, for skin types other than oily, it might feel dry. Maybe not in summer, but in winter...? But I'm very, very satisfied with this formula.. Um, some people might be put off by the solution? color. While I personally find it fine, I've written this considering how others might view it. For a pro tip... if you want definitive whitening effects, try to incorporate at least one of these while using the product: 1. Drink 2L of water daily, 2. Do sweaty exercise, 3. Go to bed early, 4. Eat less oily foods, or 5. Eat more vegetables. By the way, I did all of these, which might be why I saw good results even after just a week of use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

My skin type is dry, and I'm a 22-year-old woman. Skin Improvement: While there weren't any miraculous skin improvements, I did notice that some blemishes on my forehead disappeared during the week of use. It might be a coincidence, but it's worth mentioning. Texture: The consistency is just right - not too runny or too thick. You can easily dispense it with the dropper and quickly apply it. Some serums are as watery as toners, making you question their effectiveness, but this one has a perfect consistency. Packaging: When it first arrived, the packaging was really thoughtful and beautiful. It always puts me in a good mood when a product comes in such lovely packaging! Hydration: I skip toner and only use this serum with Dr.G moisturizer, and I've never felt my skin tight or dry. Considering I have dry skin, I think this serum does its job well in terms of hydration! It's perfect for summer when I want to minimize my skincare routine. No Greasiness: There's virtually zero greasiness due to excess oil. It doesn't feel sticky or uncomfortable at all. Absorption: It absorbs quickly and well with just a few pats. In summer, I tend to reach for lighter products, and this one fits the bill perfectly. Package Design: While there's nothing particularly wrong with it, it doesn't look especially luxurious overall. It's just... okay. Brightening Effect: Don't expect any significant brightening effects. They advertised it as 'turning on a green light for your skin,' but I didn't notice any brightening results. Usage Period: Skincare products typically need at least 2-4 weeks to show results. I feel that one week is too short to fully judge the product's effectiveness. A little goes a long way in terms of hydration :) Don't waste this precious serum by using too much. Just dispense a small amount and distribute it evenly. - ny******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 10, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

While I don't typically have many blemishes, I occasionally get breakouts depending on my skin condition. I particularly struggled with adult acne during the summers of 2018 and 2019. Overall, I experienced a lot of small bumps, with excess oil buildup in the T-zone, and even the occasional cystic acne. Since then, I've been diligently caring for my skin, so acne rarely appears now. However, my pores have noticeably enlarged, and due to ongoing dermatological treatments, my skin has become quite sensitive. On the day I received this product as a Hwahae Tester, I had just had a light fractional laser treatment at the dermatologist, so my skin was red and tingling. It's best not to cleanse on the day of treatment, so I couldn't use it that day. Even the next day, I was hesitant to try a new product on my sensitive skin, so I started using it on the third day after the treatment. I've been using it consistently until tonight, and despite my unstable skin condition, I've been able to use it without issues. This is my second serum from Serumkind, and I was extremely satisfied with the previous Purple Cabbage Drop. I think I'll use this product to the last drop as well. While the Purple Cabbage Drop had a thick, sticky consistency that was perfect for my dry, cracked winter skin, this product has a very thin, hydrating texture that runs down your face as soon as you apply it with the dropper. The weather has been humid lately, and my skin hasn't been feeling fresh. If I use too light a base, it feels insufficient, but if I over-moisturize, I immediately feel oil building up around my nose. This serum strikes the perfect balance - it's just the right level of freshness! Of course, for my skin, this serum alone isn't enough - I finish with a light cream around my eyes and cheeks where it tends to evaporate. I can't say it's particularly effective for blemishes as I haven't had any major breakouts lately. However, it did apply without irritation to some redness that was trying to surface after wearing a mask all day, and thankfully, it calmed down after a couple of days without turning into acne. While I can't definitively attribute this to the serum alone (I also used spot treatments and soothing sheet masks), I'm satisfied that it doesn't interfere with blemishes, and it provides just the right amount of hydration you'd expect from a summer serum! If I had to point out a downside, it would be that it's hard to feel the blemish-soothing effects that the serum advertises, and because the formula is so thin, it tends to get used up quickly! Even though my time as a Hwahae Tester is over, I think I'll keep reaching for this serum for a while. I have a lot of serums at home, but they've all been somewhat disappointing lately. This one mixes well with other skincare products and applies nicely before makeup! These days, I use this product after Rovectin skin, followed by Aestura TerraCne Soothing Cream, and it leaves my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

When applied after toner, it feels like it's locking in hydration with a nice bouncy texture. Finishing with a cream on top makes for excellent moisturization. The scent has a slightly sour note. The tinted color makes me a bit apprehensive psychologically. Apply between toner and moisturizer - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Brightening: My skin looks more radiant! I can really feel the difference in my complexion~ This was my favorite aspect of the product! Hydration: I usually apply toner, essence, and cream, but one night before bed, I thought 'I'll brush my teeth and apply cream~' Even though I forgot to apply the cream, my skin wasn't dry in the morning! Fragrance-free: Other reviews mention a scent, but no matter how much I sniff, it seems fragrance-free to me. I actually prefer it that way.. Absorption: It absorbs well and sinks in without any stickiness after absorption. Great for use before makeup! Price: After being so satisfied with the product, I looked into purchasing it, but the price seems a bit high for the amount you get. Dropper: One pump isn't quite enough, but two pumps are too much, so I'm using about one and a half pumps. It would be nice if one pump dispensed just the right amount. The dropper's suction power is a bit weak. If you don't have dry skin, layering the essence twice will keep you moisturized even without cream! - c2*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 9, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The biggest advantage of this product is that it's vegan. It's gentle on the skin. This was my first time trying a serum, and it didn't feel heavy like an ampoule. It flows and absorbs like water. However, despite its watery texture, it didn't provide an intense hydration. The scent is a subtle green grape fragrance, which becomes almost undetectable once absorbed. After applying this serum, I can layer on sunscreen without any pilling, and the rest of my routine feels comfortable. It's a great lightweight serum for summer. I also appreciated that they included samples of other products along with this one! As I mentioned briefly above, it doesn't give a deep hydration feeling. It seems to stay on the surface rather than absorbing deeply. While it's not sticky when first applied, there's a slight tackiness after it's fully absorbed. I noticed that serums and ampoules tend to cause some darkening on my skin right after application, and this one did the same. Also, they included styrofoam(?) in the package to prevent the glass bottle from breaking during shipping, but I think they could reduce the amount used! I wanted to upload more photos, but the file size is too large to attach them. - ja******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 9, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I've been quite environmentally conscious lately, so I was thrilled to see the eco-friendly packaging when I first received it. Let me give you my honest, genuine review. Ingredients: Absolutely fantastic! It suited my skin perfectly without causing any blemishes. I'm completely satisfied! Scent: The fragrance seems to be quite divisive. Personally, I adored the subtle blend of shine muscat and herbal notes. Texture: It has a typical serum consistency - not too viscous, rather fluid. Application: It absorbs smoothly with almost no sticky residue. While it's a hydrating serum, the finish feels like there's an ultra-thin layer of oil lightly coating the skin. Design: It's absolutely gorgeous! The packaging would make a lovely addition to any vanity. I plan to display it on my dressing table! Price: At 38,000 won for 30ml, it's not exactly budget-friendly. It might be a bit pricey for students. Still, the beautiful design makes me want to buy it anyway! Another slight drawback is that it doesn't seem to have any standout benefits. I couldn't really tell if it had a calming effect. As someone with oily skin, it worked well for me, but those with combination dehydrated skin or dry skin might find it a bit lacking in moisture. Highly recommended for those with oily skin though! If you have combination dehydrated or dry skin, you might want to layer this with a hydrating moisturizer or mix in a few drops of facial oil for better results.
