It absorbs well, doesn't feel sticky, and leaves the skin feeling light and fresh It tends to run, doesn't absorb properly, has an artificial scent, doesn't help with deep dryness, and feels oily - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 20, 2020
I love the texture of this product. Personally, I prefer formulas that apply like an emulsion. The slight white cast actually worked well for me, especially since I'm always wearing a mask these days - it's nice to have some brightening effect. I even applied it to my 4-year-old child without any issues. You know how we always look for gentle ingredients for kids. It also provides a decent amount of hydration, which was perfect for this transitional weather so my skin didn't feel too dry. First off, the scent was an issue for me. It's a personal preference, but the fragrance kept lingering and seemed to give me a headache. I usually enjoy fragrances and even seek out scented products for body care, soap, and emulsions, but this one just didn't agree with me. Secondly, while the price isn't a major drawback considering it's for children, it would be nice if it were a bit more affordable. Lastly, there's a slight stickiness to it (though my husband, who used it too, actually liked that it wasn't sticky for him). I noticed that my skin felt dry after about two hours of being out, even though it felt moisturized when first applied. I'm not sure if that was due to wearing a mask or not. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 19, 2020
This review is from a Hwahae Tester! I have extremely sensitive skin with severe redness, some blemishes, and significant scarring. When I used this product on my problematic skin, it didn't cause any breakouts, which proves how gentle it is! There's a slight white cast, but since I have scars and severe redness, I actually like it as it provides a bit of coverage. The product is quite rich, so it spreads easily. The packaging is sturdy, and the narrow opening makes it easy to control the amount dispensed. To summarize: - Can be used without causing irritation even on skin with severe blemishes, redness, and sensitivity - Slight white cast - Spreads well - Sturdy packaging, easy to control amount The downside is that the product is quite rich. Apart from that, I don't have any other complaints. While it spreads well due to its richness, it might not suit oily skin types. Also, because of its rich texture, it feels less absorbed compared to other sunscreens. - Rich texture - Feels like it sits on top of the skin rather than absorbing - Due to the lack of absorption and the feeling of sitting on the skin, it seems to come off easily with oil on oily skin types It works well under heavy-duty foundations like Estée Lauder Double Wear! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 29, 2019
I loved the light, refreshing feel and the emulsion-like texture! It's perfect for applying on sticky summer mornings. The absorption was great, and I really liked the slightly powdery finish. There was a subtle brightening effect, but it looked natural and not too intense. Of course, it blends into my skin naturally over time. I particularly dislike getting product on my hands, but the thin nozzle made it easy to control the amount. The scent was a natural, forest-like fragrance... very mild! I was surprised when it came out too runny if not shaken well... Make sure to shake it thoroughly before use! It stings if it gets in your eyes. Also, I don't think you can apply makeup right after using this sunscreen. This might just be my personal experience, but it felt like it didn't adhere well to my skin and just sat on top. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 21, 2019
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I typically only use Make P:rem sunscreen products, but I got the chance to try this one after being selected as a tester. Since I've been using just one sun care product, this will be a comparative review! I have combination dehydrated skin with large pores, so my skin tends to get oily quickly during the day. That's why I only use moisturizing products at night and prefer drier products during the day to avoid excess oil. First off, this product is more hydrating than the Make P:rem one I've been using. In the photo, Make P:rem is on the left, and the Goong Jung Bi Cheob product is on the right. You can see with the naked eye that the Goong Jung Bi Cheob Sun Emulsion is more hydrating. While it may appear to have more of a white cast in the photo compared to Make P:rem, there's not much difference once you pat it in to absorb. The white cast isn't severe, and since it's an emulsion rather than a cream, even when you apply the proper amount of sunscreen, it doesn't leave a heavy white cast or cause makeup to pill! After using it as part of The Hwahae Testers program, I haven't repurchased it. While it doesn't cause makeup to pill, when you apply cushion foundation over it, there's a feeling that the cushion product doesn't adhere well to the sun emulsion underneath. Even though my usual cushion has good adherence, it still sits slightly on top of this product. For those with oily or combination skin that leans towards oily, it might cause excessive shine! Even on my skin, the level of shine is quite noticeable...!! (I've attached additional photos of the texture!)
