I'm not sure how to write more than 20 characters about this... It's not even good for use on the body.
ConsThis is the worst sunscreen I've ever tried. It's a total disaster. Sticky, leaves a white cast, and pills like crazy. Even if your skin is in top condition that day, using this will make it look terrible!

I bought it from Sephora, and I was immediately drawn to its eco-friendly claims of being safe for marine life, dolphins, and the ocean ecosystem. After purchasing, I checked the reviews on the Hwahae app and briefly wondered if I'd made a mistake. But I was determined to make it work, partly out of stubbornness and partly to support the brand's ethos and efforts in creating this product. The texture is unique compared to other sunscreens I've tried. When first applying it to your face, it feels like a fine plaster mixed with honey. I remember reading an article about how many brands add various chemicals to improve the application feel, so I wondered if this product's unusual texture was due to the absence of those additives. I was satisfied with its white cast that provides a brightening effect, and its rich, hydrating feel during application. I always wash my hands after applying sunscreen to avoid getting it in my hair while blow-drying. This product rinses off cleanly without leaving any residue, which I love. With other sunscreens, I often need to use soap to remove the sticky feeling, but not with this one.
ConsDue to its thick consistency, it takes some time to spread evenly. If not applied carefully, you can end up with patchy areas that are more noticeable because of the white cast. The real shock comes later in the day when I look in the mirror and see white, flaky patches on my cheeks - thank goodness for masks, or I'd be mortified by the state of my skin! I'm not sure what causes this. I thought it might be incompatible with my moisturizer, but when I tested it on the back of my hand over my regular cream, it looked perfect. I've just done another test on my hand for this review, and it still looks flawless there. It seems the issue only occurs on my face, or perhaps it develops over time after application. And remember how I mentioned it washes off easily? Well, that's both a pro and a con. If I brush my teeth after applying this sunscreen, I end up with white streaks around my mouth. Even water droplets that run down my chin while rinsing leave visible marks.
TipI'm still trying to find a way to make this work, as I have quite a bit left. Especially considering that nowadays you can find many sunscreens on sale with buy-one-get-one-free offers, or cheaper options at other stores (though admittedly, few would be as environmentally conscious as this one). I want to use it up, if only to get my money's worth. I haven't found a solution yet, but if I do, I'll update my review with additional feedback.

The high SPF index allows for worry-free use even in the height of summer. There is minimal irritation to the skin. It provides a natural tone-up effect, and despite being a vegan sunscreen, it has low oil content and a very dense texture. Even the gentlest of sunscreens can sometimes cause eye irritation, but this one is completely free of that problem, so I would recommend it to those who have struggled with that issue before.
ConsEven though I'm a sunscreen nomad, I tend to use products to the end if the oil content is not too high. This product has low oil content, but the application is too thick and absorption is very poor. I'm really disappointed, as I researched and purchased this product with high expectations. They say that the higher the SPF, the thicker the texture and the more likely it is to leave a white cast, but this is almost too thick for daily use. At first, I thought it was because I wasn't properly doing my base skincare, so I tried applying it multiple times, but no matter what, it just doesn't absorb quickly enough for me to apply and run out the door. I even tried taking the time to apply it, but over time, it would still leave a white cast on my cheeks. Other than that, it's a good product, but the application is a major downside.
TipPatting it on with a puff helped the absorption improve a bit. (Additional Review) As the season changed and my skin got drier, I thought I couldn't use this anymore, but then I started mixing in a couple of drops of my daily serum, and now it doesn't leave any white cast and feels very moisturizing! I'm able to use it comfortably every day now.
