I typically have dry skin on my body, but tend to experience swelling in my lower body, so I usually avoid regular body emulsions. That's why I prefer products that tighten the skin, like hot gels or cooling gels. Today, I'll be reviewing the Missha Hot Burning Body Gel that I've been using for quite a while. It comes in a 200ml tube, which is convenient and hygienic to use. The scent is reminiscent of mint, with a refreshing aroma that spreads nicely. This cool & hot dual-effect massage gel is designed for a firm and smooth body. It's an opaque white gel that applies with a cool sensation, tightening up loose skin. After absorption, it creates a warm sensation that helps achieve smooth and firm body care. This is thanks to its patented combination of ginseng extract and hawthorn fruit extract, which effectively firms up the skin. The instructions suggest applying it to dry skin on problem areas before exercising, massaging it in for absorption. However, due to its strong heating effect, it can sometimes cause temporary redness, and in summer it can make you feel even hotter. That's why I prefer using it in the evening after showering. Seaweed extract and aloe vera leaf extract keep the skin hydrated and smooth. While it's a gel, its exceptional moisturizing quality is a plus, though it does absorb slowly and can feel sticky in hot, humid weather. Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after use, or they'll heat up too! While it may not have a noticeable slimming effect, I continue to use it because it keeps my skin firm and hydrated without causing blemishes (and it works great in synergy with my daily exercise routine). It's affordable enough to use generously, but the more you apply, the stronger the heating sensation becomes. Overall, it's a decent body gel, and I hope it doesn't get discontinued because I'd really miss it! Strong heating sensation. Slow absorption, and can feel sticky in summer weather. Using a small amount on targeted areas helps reduce the intensity of the heating sensation. - gl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2020
The warming sensation helps alleviate muscle pain. As for cellulite reduction, honestly... Due to the heating ingredients, it stings if applied to even slightly wounded areas. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2020
I bought this to help with stretch marks from rapid weight gain and for my diet. When I work out and sweat, it gives a wonderfully soothing sensation, like having a pain relief patch on. I'm already on my fifth bottle! Due to the intense warming effect, absolutely do not apply this to your face. It's great to apply before and after exercising. My cousin also said it works well for stretch marks.
