My hair is long, and I usually need 3-4 pumps of regular shampoo, but with this one, just 2 pumps create a rich lather. After washing, my hair feels noticeably softer. Even after drying, it still feels moisturized. I've been using it for about 10 days, and I think I'm seeing slightly less hair fall. As for the scent, it's a matter of personal preference, but I really enjoyed the citrusy yuzu fragrance - it's pleasant and not overpowering.
ConsDespite the abundant lather, I didn't feel like the cleansing effectiveness was particularly impressive. I never had this issue before, but after using this product, my scalp would get oily by the afternoon, and the volume at the roots seemed weaker than usual. Also, I experienced a slight itching sensation after shampooing, which I hadn't before, so I suspect there might be an ingredient that doesn't agree with me.
TipFor best results, it's recommended to leave the shampoo on for 3 minutes before rinsing. This apparently helps remove more impurities and excess oil.

Here's my review after using it for that time: - Texture: It has a slightly viscous texture with noticeable particles! - Lather: For an anti-hair loss shampoo, it produces quite a rich lather. I really liked this aspect. The good lather means you don't need to pump out too much product. - Cleansing effectiveness: The cleansing power seems satisfactory. My hair doesn't feel stiff after washing, which is very pleasing. Since I've only used it for about 6 days, it's too early to make a full assessment, so I focused on the user experience! So far, I'm using it well without any major complaints. I plan to leave an additional review after using it for a month or two.
Cons- Scent: Personally, I found the fragrance a bit disappointing. This is subjective, of course, but it seems to be a citrus-like scent. However, rather than being a fresh citrus, it has a slightly heavy feel, reminiscent of an energy drink or medicine. It's not a complete dislike, but it's definitely not my favorite.
TipMany people pump the shampoo directly onto their hair, but the correct way to use shampoo is to dispense it first and then lather it up before applying! Using more shampoo doesn't necessarily mean better results. I usually pump out about a thumbtip's worth and create a rich lather before using it. On days when I haven't washed my hair for about two days, it's good to do a pre-wash for thorough cleansing. + September 7th update After using it for nearly a month and a half to two months, I'm not sure if I notice less hair falling out... I'll leave another review after finishing the whole bottle. + September 11th update I've developed dandruff that I didn't have before... I noticed one or two flakes earlier and hoped it wasn't the case, but it turns out it was. If the dandruff disappears when I switch back to my previous product, I'll conclude that this product doesn't suit me. My scalp isn't particularly dry or oily. I can go about two days without washing my hair and it doesn't get greasy...

My sibling's scalp: Extremely sensitive, prone to heat and dandruff, with an oily crown leading to hair loss. 1. Texture & Scent: Contains small particles, leaves a fragrant citrus scent when washing. - It had a strong yuzu scent, as if pouring yuzu tea on your head, but it wasn't artificial, which was nice. The scent disappeared after rinsing. 2. Dandruff: Mom came into the room, ruffled my sibling's hair, and exclaimed in amazement that all the dandruff was gone! 3. Hair loss: It's too early to tell, but I'll update if we see effects with continued use. 4. Lather: It produces an excellent lather. 5. Post-shampoo (Sibling): My sibling's scalp is super sensitive, often developing red spots after washing, but this shampoo seems to cause less irritation. Usually, their scalp and hair get oily quickly, especially the next day, but after using this shampoo, their hair looks more hydrated and healthier. Post-shampoo (Me): As I have healthy hair, it just looks a bit shinier than usual. Important note: My sibling has seen dermatologists, but they only diagnose an extremely sensitive scalp without offering much help. Their scalp is a mess - dry parts are red, oily parts are excessively greasy. My sibling has tried various shampoos, but none have eliminated dandruff and controlled oil as effectively as this one. If the price becomes more reasonable, we'll likely repurchase it in the future!
ConsThe only downside is the rather high price. It's a bit out of reach for those on a tight budget.

Lather: The way it lathers is unique. I'm usually wary of shampoos with low-density foam like common supermarket brands that use chemical surfactants. However, this shampoo creates a dense, rich lather that suggests good cleansing effectiveness. Results: I have hereditary female pattern hair loss, with very thin, limp hair. I've tried countless hair loss shampoos without seeing noticeable results, even after finishing a whole bottle. But with this shampoo, after just two days, I could visibly see my hair gaining strength and root volume. My hair is not only thin but also quite long, past my waist, making it difficult to achieve root volume even with blow-drying. I definitely felt the Alpha Biotin shampoo strengthening both my scalp and hair. Also, since heat on the scalp is a major cause of hair loss, I appreciated this shampoo's excellent cooling effect. Although I'll continue using it and update my review until the deadline, a week isn't enough time to see effects like reduced hair fall or new growth. However, seeing results in just two days that I've never experienced with other hair loss shampoos makes me believe it will definitely help with hair loss when used long-term. While a shampoo can't change my hair loss genes, I think those experiencing hair loss due to poor scalp condition rather than genetics could see results very quickly with this product.
ConsScent: It has a tangy yuzu-like smell, but with an odd medicinal or alcohol undertone that I personally didn't like. Most people dealing with hair loss probably focus more on effectiveness than fragrance, so if they can't create a pleasant scent, it might have been better to skip the fragrance altogether and make an even healthier shampoo.
TipThe correct way to use this shampoo is to create a rich lather in your hands first, rather than applying the liquid directly to your hair. Instead of thinking about washing your hair, focus on thoroughly cleansing your entire scalp with your fingertips to remove impurities. Most importantly, rinse the shampoo out thoroughly. Finish with cool water to refresh your scalp, using your fingertips to rinse your entire scalp area just as you did while shampooing. Since this shampoo has an excellent cooling effect, it's beneficial to leave it on for a bit after lathering. You could brush your teeth during this time, allowing the cooling effect and active ingredients to work before rinsing.

Personally, I found the fragrance quite pleasant! I have an oily scalp that produces a lot of sebum, especially in summer when I sweat a lot. The oil production is no joke! With shampoos that don't lather well, I end up using a lot, but with this product, just a small amount creates such rich foam - I love it! After using it, my scalp felt clean and refreshed. With continued use, I definitely noticed a reduction in oiliness. I also tend to shed quite a bit when washing my hair, but after using this shampoo, it seems like the amount of hair fall has decreased! My hair is permed and colored, so it's quite damaged these days. While I'm not sure if this shampoo alone improves hair texture, using it along with a conditioner (which is a must for damaged hair) should give good results!
ConsIt's on the pricier side, but since it lathers so well, you don't need to use much. This means the bottle should last quite a while.
TipAs this is a hair loss prevention product, I tend to work up a lather and massage my scalp for a bit longer when shampooing.

As soon as you squeeze it out, there's a tangy scent reminiscent of yuzu or tangerine peel. The fragrance is delightfully refreshing! The texture is just right - neither too heavy nor too light. In the photo, you might notice what looks like bubbles, but up close, they're actually tiny bits that resemble finely chopped yuzu peel. They dissolve into foam when you massage it in. I was worried it might not lather well, but it actually produces an abundance of soft, fluffy foam. The bubbles feel wonderfully gentle when massaging your scalp. My boyfriend tried it too, and he gave glowing reviews for the scent, lather, and softness. While it's described as having a yuzu scent, the lingering fragrance on your hair is slightly different. When I went outside and the wind blew my hair across my face, it had this elegant, perfume-like scent. It was so lovely, I kept wondering if it was really coming from my hair! Despite its gentle yuzu scent, there's a hint of menthol that gives a subtle cooling sensation on the scalp. It's not as intense as a cooling shampoo, but it's there, saying 'I have menthol too!' I'm not sure if others experience this, but I usually lose a lot of hair when brushing in the morning. However, the day after first using this shampoo, I was surprised to see only a few strands come out. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product!
ConsSo far, I can't really think of any downsides. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the ingredients aren't particularly outstanding, which is a bit disappointing. I'll need to use it more to know for sure, but for now, I'm quite pleased with it.
