Lather: The way it lathers is unique. I'm usually wary of shampoos with low-density foam like common supermarket brands that use chemical surfactants. However, this shampoo creates a dense, rich lather that suggests good cleansing effectiveness. Results: I have hereditary female pattern hair loss, with very thin, limp hair. I've tried countless hair loss shampoos without seeing noticeable results, even after finishing a whole bottle. But with this shampoo, after just two days, I could visibly see my hair gaining strength and root volume. My hair is not only thin but also quite long, past my waist, making it difficult to achieve root volume even with blow-drying. I definitely felt the Alpha Biotin shampoo strengthening both my scalp and hair. Also, since heat on the scalp is a major cause of hair loss, I appreciated this shampoo's excellent cooling effect. Although I'll continue using it and update my review until the deadline, a week isn't enough time to see effects like reduced hair fall or new growth. However, seeing results in just two days that I've never experienced with other hair loss shampoos makes me believe it will definitely help with hair loss when used long-term. While a shampoo can't change my hair loss genes, I think those experiencing hair loss due to poor scalp condition rather than genetics could see results very quickly with this product.
ConsScent: It has a tangy yuzu-like smell, but with an odd medicinal or alcohol undertone that I personally didn't like. Most people dealing with hair loss probably focus more on effectiveness than fragrance, so if they can't create a pleasant scent, it might have been better to skip the fragrance altogether and make an even healthier shampoo.
TipThe correct way to use this shampoo is to create a rich lather in your hands first, rather than applying the liquid directly to your hair. Instead of thinking about washing your hair, focus on thoroughly cleansing your entire scalp with your fingertips to remove impurities. Most importantly, rinse the shampoo out thoroughly. Finish with cool water to refresh your scalp, using your fingertips to rinse your entire scalp area just as you did while shampooing. Since this shampoo has an excellent cooling effect, it's beneficial to leave it on for a bit after lathering. You could brush your teeth during this time, allowing the cooling effect and active ingredients to work before rinsing.
