Although it's a gel formula rather than a cream, I found it a bit stiff when spreading. However, it absorbs well if you pat it in gently. Once fully absorbed, it doesn't feel sticky at all! I think this could work for all skin types.
ConsIt feels a bit thick when applying and isn't super hydrating. It might feel heavy at first, but once it's absorbed, your skin becomes soft and smooth.
TipI often use this when my skin barrier is compromised in winter. It works well if you apply a thin layer first, then follow up with a thicker layer on top.

With ingredients like aloe and soothing components, it might be good for sensitive skin.
ConsIt doesn't particularly improve blemishes. There's a slightly heavy feeling when applying it.

It evens skin tone and makes skin feel softer! - It gives a beautiful glow right after applying
Cons- Although it's a gel, as someone who absolutely avoids sticky products, I found it a bit tacky. Some might say it makes skin feel firmer, but to me it just felt sticky - It feels like it creates a film on the skin. It's a bit suffocating - It's drying despite the stickiness. It's too sticky to apply a second thin layer, but even with two layers, while the surface feels moisturized and glowy, it doesn't seem to address deep dryness (I have combination skin, but it's dry in winter) - I bought it hoping it would help with contact dermatitis and soothe my skin, but it doesn't calm my skin at all. Instead of feeling comfortable, my skin feels suffocated, like wearing a rubber sheet mask. Worse, my skin condition deteriorated after use, with small bumps appearing. I suspect it might be clogging my pores... - I usually only wear a thin layer of brightening moisturizer, but with this cream, I don't think I could apply any makeup at all. I tried applying a thin layer of the cream, which gave a nice glow, then put on brightening moisturizer, but it pilled immediately... Makeup pills terribly with this
TipIt makes my skin feel soft, so despite the high price, I use it as a hand cream. Honestly, it feels like a waste of money

It was frustrating - I'd extract the milia only to find them back in the same spot the next day. I realized this was happening because of my compromised skin barrier. The cycle of extracting, reappearing, extracting again left my skin inflamed and exhausted. Let me share in detail how my skin has changed since using this product. Texture: A purple gel-cream consistency, but slightly thicker than a typical gel cream. Scent: It has quite a bitter smell. It's reminiscent of kudzu root. If you're sensitive to scents, you might want to hold your breath while applying! Application: It's more moisturizing than a gel cream due to its thicker consistency. However, if you have very dry skin like me, this product alone might not be enough. After applying, I recommend sealing it in with an oil to lock in the moisture (creating a barrier). I've included some tips in the additional section on how to boost your skin barrier while keeping your skin hydrated!
ConsThis is something I think many will relate to - the spatula is just too small! When you're trying to scoop up the product after applying your serum or essence, it keeps slipping through your fingers. It's so frustrating that I was tempted to just dive in with my fingers! To be honest, I can't help but wish it came in a tube format instead.
TipHere's the golden tip you've been waiting for - how to boost your skin barrier while calming your skin! As mentioned earlier, apply this product and then seal it with an oil to create a barrier. This is crucial! Personally, I use coconut oil. It's effective in suppressing acne-causing bacteria. When your skin barrier is compromised, even if you extract a blemish, it often reappears in the same spot the next day. To prevent this, we need to strengthen the skin barrier. Coconut oil is effective because it both suppresses bacteria and helps improve the skin barrier. After using the Yuka Self-Regenerating Cream along with this method for a week, my milia decreased, redness subsided significantly, and extracted blemishes stopped reappearing. However, if you have very oily skin, I recommend using rosehip oil instead of coconut oil. While coconut oil is the most moisturizing of plant oils, it has a relatively high comedogenic rating of 4. For those with dry skin using coconut oil, don't apply too thick a layer. Just use enough to form a light barrier - warm a small amount between your palms and gently press it onto your face. This will lock in moisture, and you'll wake up to transformed skin in the morning!
