Pros
This cream is quite peculiar. When applied to problem skin, it does have a noticeable effect. It helps reduce redness and inflammation, gradually improving the appearance of the face or problem areas. I've experienced this with my own skin, and it has also helped tighten my husband's enlarged pores. As a result, the skin appears more refined(?) and even. So in the beginning, I was very pleased and impressed when using it. (Currently on day 34 of use) It has oil-control and soothing effects like a moisturizing cream, but it doesn't feel particularly hydrating.

The problem is that when applied to areas other than problem skin, it can actually cause issues. Literally, it leads to breakouts. My husband applied it all over his face, and while it was effective on his cheeks which had enlarged pores, it caused three new pimples to emerge on his forehead, nose, and around the mouth, which previously had no acne issues. My own skin also experienced problems - small, white, hard bumps (like whiteheads?) keep appearing that don't even come to a head. Additionally, when I applied it twice to my 10-year-old son's face, it caused redness, swelling, and a burning sensation in that area. It took over 3 days for the inflammation to subside, but that area is now discolored... Update: December 29, 2023 Now, this has become my absolute favorite item!!! I can't live without it! As mentioned in my previous review, it did cause some irritation on my 10-year-old son's face, but now that he's 12 and dealing with oiliness and breakouts, I apply it to his face daily as well! Our whole family is satisfied with using it!! It's pricey, but for those with severe skin issues, I'd recommend giving it a try, as it's been worth it for us. I'm also updating my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. The proof is in my personal expense records (haha). Update: October 19, 2022 Since then, I've stopped using it on my child and husband, and have been using it only for myself without any major issues. I now understand the reason behind the whiteheads or bumps I experienced earlier. If I apply it at the first sign of a blemish, it miraculously calms it down. Barring any special skin conditions, the blemishes usually subside, and then turn into blackheads, which I have removed during my dermatologist visits. What I was initially unsure about has become a staple in my routine after using it for almost 2 years - I can confidently say it works well for my skin. Nowadays, I just apply it all over my face quickly. It's a bit of a shame that it's not particularly hydrating, being a cream, but overall I'm very satisfied.
Tip
Apply only a very small amount, only to the problem areas! Do not apply it to areas with no visible pores or skin issues. I recommended it to my younger brother because I liked it so much, but he says he didn't see any effects. The degree of effectiveness seems to vary quite a bit. It's an awkward 3-star feeling - not sure whether to recommend it or not.
