It's a transparent, viscous serum with no fragrance, and it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients. I really like how moisturizing it feels - it absorbs well into the skin without leaving a heavy residue. I find it works best when I apply it in a thin, layered application. I'll definitely be repurchasing this product.
ConsThe price is not very affordable unless it's on sale. While I found the serum to be very hydrating with no oiliness, I've noticed it doesn't quite provide enough moisture to combat the dryness I experience during periods when I'm using the air conditioner all day.

It's a bit sticky, but it's fine as long as it absorbs well.
ConsI bought it on sale because the price was a bit high.. Since it has some oil, I've been using a moisturizer with very little oil. Oh, and the dropper tends to suck in a lot of air..! This one is a bit different from other serums I've used.

When I popped a pimple and had a wound, applying this didn't hurt at all. Also, I have a lot of acne trouble on my forehead, and after using this for 2 weeks, I felt like it calmed down a bit. The texture is a bit runny, and it's almost fragrance-free. The moisturization was satisfactory, and it seems to maintain the oil-moisture balance well. It feels quite moisturized, without any particular dryness, and the moisturizing effect is good. The dropper makes it easy to use.
ConsThe downside is that this would be better to use in the summer than in the winter or fall. When using it in the winter or fall, the moisturization and such feel a bit lacking. It really feels very watery and light, with almost no oil, so using it in the summer would be much better. In the winter, you'd have to use a cream together with it. At 29,000 won for 50ml, using it for 2 weeks, it can last about a month or a little over, so the price is reasonable or even not too expensive.

It has almost no scent, and the packaging design is clean. Pumping the serum twice with the dropper is enough to adequately moisturize the face and neck. While the serum doesn't refine the skin texture (that's the toner's job), it doesn't irritate the skin either. The serum is more focused on hydration than oil balance, so those who need more oil may want to apply a richer cream or oil on top. Even those who don't need much oil should still use a cream to prevent moisture loss. The serum has a calming effect - it noticeably reduces the size and number of my pre-menstrual blemishes. Since I don't have much redness or other skin issues, I can't speak to its soothing effects on those, but it seems to help with mask-induced breakouts as well. Those seeking a calming effect should use this ampoule along with a minimally-formulated moisturizer, rather than layering it with other functional skincare products like whitening or anti-aging creams. Lastly, as for the Cellbiatte brand, it's a relatively new one I discovered through the Hwahae Trial Reviewers. While there are many well-known mainstream skincare brands out there, this brand feels genuine, as evidenced by the handwritten letter (which I imagine all Hwahae reviewers received).
ConsThose expecting a more balanced oil-to-water ratio, or even a slightly oil-dominant formula, may find this serum lacking. Individuals who rely on serums to refine their skin texture may find this one insufficient.
TipFor those seeking a calming effect, try using this serum with a minimally-formulated cream only (no additional functional skincare products like anti-aging or whitening). Layering the serum 3 times and the cream 2 times should provide hydration and soothing benefits.

And I'm a little sensitive to skincare products. ✨Fragrance: I felt the fragrance was unscented. But I disliked the unique factory-like odor of the unscented product a little. Since I'm not someone who is very particular about fragrance, I didn't mind it much and used it anyway. ✨Soothing: I didn't particularly feel this product soothing, but my skin didn't get flipped over or have any breakouts come up, so it was just fine. ✨Texture: The texture wasn't too thick or too thin, it was in the middle, so it was easy to apply!
Cons💧 Skin Texture: Since my skincare routine starts with a toner to smooth out my skin texture, I didn't see much of an effect from this product. 😞 💧 Moisture: Even though I have oily skin, this toner and product alone didn't provide enough moisture. The moisture level seemed to drop quite a bit. 💧 Hydration: With the lack of moisture, the hydration was also very poor. 😞 After a while, about an hour later, my face felt quite tight... 💧 Absorption: The absorption isn't great either. Even after applying and waiting a bit, I felt the product sitting a bit on the surface of my skin.
TipI use the blueberry toner (Innisfree), the multi-serum, and the Dr.G red blemish multi-fluid, so the hydration is really great when I use them all! I recommend this routine. ❤️

Recently, due to masks and heaters, I've been getting a lot of milia (small white bumps) on my skin. The packaging is ~ It's a simple white box with a green label in a dropper design, and I felt that it matched well with the brand's values. Personally, I found the dropper design easy to use. The usage experience is ~ The formula is not too thin, but it does drip a bit on the back of my hand. I used about 2 droppers' worth on my hand and found that it absorbed well while providing moisture. After applying, I didn't feel any oiliness at all. It felt simple yet moisturizing, and I really liked the sense of adequate hydration while using it. I didn't experience any additional breakouts or troubles while using it. I also felt like it had a slightly calming effect. I recommend this to those with sensitive, dry skin who place importance on the ingredients.
ConsThe downside is that since I have dry skin with severe dehydration, I felt that 1 dropper was not enough, and I needed to use around 2 droppers to cover my entire face. I had to use it together with a slightly oily moisturizer to alleviate the dryness. Those with very dry skin may feel that the moisturizing power is lacking.
TipOn days when I had a lot of breakouts, I did a green tea sheet mask and used 2 droppers of the serum twice, absorbing it in. When I woke up the next morning, my skin felt much more soothed.

The packaging is clean, but there were some reviews saying the durability is weak, which I'm not sure about. They sent a handwritten letter along with the product, and I could feel the sincerity. Skin type: Oily, acne-prone 🌞Spreadability & Absorption When I squeezed out about 2-3 drops on the back of my hand and rubbed it, the texture was like a runny nose. When I applied it to my face, it spread lightly. So it wasn't burdensome for my oily skin. That's why I think it's good to use before makeup in the summer - it doesn't make my skin too shiny, but leaves a light finish. 🌞Oiliness & Moisture I didn't feel any oiliness at all, which was great. I think it was mostly moisturizing. 🌞Skin Improvement This isn't an advantage, but also not a disadvantage, so I'll mention it here. They said it helps reduce redness, but since I don't usually have redness, I couldn't really tell the effect. As for acne, it didn't seem to have any particular effect on my acne-prone skin. 🌞Fragrance It's basically fragrance-free, so it would be good for those sensitive to scents. 🌞Overall Since my skin isn't very sensitive, I didn't have any major issues. It's a product that can be used without any trouble. In one word, I'd say it's a clean product.
Cons1. The absorption isn't that fast. I felt more moisture than oil, but it didn't absorb as quickly as I expected. 2. I didn't feel like my skin was deeply hydrated.

However, the skin that wouldn't improve no matter what I did is gradually getting better, and I don't get as many breakouts even when wearing a mask, which is great! The scent is almost fragrance-free, which I liked. The texture is also good, as it's in between a toner and a cream, making it easy to apply.
ConsThe dropper can't hold a lot of product, which is a bit disappointing. And while it does provide some moisture, it was a bit drying to use this serum alone, so I applied another moisturizing cream after using it.
TipIt's best to let the product fully absorb before applying a cream on top.

Additionally, I was really impressed by the packaging. The matte finish with the clean teal label looked very natural and premium. As someone with sweaty hands, the matte case didn't show fingerprints much, which I really appreciated. I was also touched that Cellbiote included a handwritten note and a compact mirror along with the product. It really gave the impression that they care deeply about their customers. This was my first time learning about the Cellbiote brand through the Hwahae Trial, and they made an excellent first impression!
ConsWhile the serum provided a strong sense of hydration and felt lightweight without much oiliness, I felt that it didn't effectively lock in the moisture over time after application. The moisturizing power seemed a bit weak, if you will. In the beginning, when I wasn't fully aware of how this serum would work with my other skincare products, I would just do a simple routine of toner-serum-moisturizer for the summer. But after being exposed to fan air, I did notice some dryness later on. So I would recommend, unless you have extremely oily skin, to follow up this serum with a slightly more occlusive cream or lotion to seal in the moisture. For the same reason, while this is a great lightweight serum for summer, I'm not sure how well it would perform in the dry Korean winters. As someone with combination skin that gets very dry on the cheeks in winter, I feel the hydrating properties of this serum alone may not be enough to get through the colder months.
TipFor those who don't have extremely oily skin, I would recommend following up this serum with a slightly more occlusive cream or lotion to provide a more moisturizing finish.

Oily in the forehead and sides of the nose, combination skin. ☆ This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer's review. I used only this mild toner and this product for 11 days. ☆ The serum container has an interesting concept where the inner value (?) is revealed when you peel off the product label. The texture is a moisturizing gel type with almost no oily feel. And I'm glad there's no artificial fragrance. 1. Oil Control ☆ -> This means good! Personally, I dislike sticky finishes, so I prefer refreshing-feeling serums, and this one is just that. However, using this alone is slightly insufficient to provide all the needed moisture. 2. Texture ☆☆☆☆ I really love this moisturizing gel type texture. 3. Lasting Power ☆☆☆ The next morning, my face wasn't very hydrated. It wasn't tight or anything, but I did spray a mist right after waking up. + It has no fragrance and no color, so it feels very gentle. I applied it on my super sensitive younger sibling for a few days (any random drugstore product makes their face go haywire), and it was perfectly fine.
Cons4. Moisture ☆☆☆+ It doesn't feel drying to the point of tightness, but you need to use quite a lot to get a decent level of hydration. I guess that's because it's a very low-oil type of serum. I used just this and a toner for 2 weeks, and while it wasn't exactly lacking, I still felt something was missing. I ended up adding a cream on top later. 5. Value (Price to Volume) ☆☆☆ 50ml for 29,000 won doesn't feel extremely expensive, but I also didn't get the sense that it was an exceptionally great serum, so the price feels a bit disappointing to me personally.
TipIt's great for mixing in vitamin C powder! I combined it with the vitamin powder I already had, and it blended in seamlessly on my face.
