Great coverage and the least cakey among compacts. It effectively conceals pores and doesn't cause blemishes. It might feel a bit heavy for summer use. I haven't tried the renewed version, so I can't comment on that. - se*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 2, 2025
I've used this so many times, I've lost count! Compared to other cushions, it doesn't cause blemishes, keeps my skin hydrated, and while I have a lot of blemishes, using just a small amount of concealer along with this provides great coverage! The effectiveness may vary depending on your skin type, but for me, it even covered the pores around my nose well when I gently patted it on! It's so moisturizing that it does slide a bit, requiring some touch-ups during the day, but that didn't bother me much. Unfortunately, the gold version has been discontinued, and the newly revamped version hasn't received good reviews. So, I've become a cushion nomad once again, searching for the perfect one. - nj****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 25, 2025
It effectively conceals blemishes and causes no issues for sensitive skin However, it tends to be a bit greasy. The color also has a grayish tint, which isn't very flattering It's often on sale and available for purchase from many websites - ji**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2025
**Renoderm Cushion Gold: 5-Year User Review** Skin type: Oily T-zone, dry cheeks, redness, sensitive skin prone to occasional folliculitis Previously, other products worsened my skin blemishes. This one's the only match for me. - Texture and Longevity: While it claims to be moisturizing, it feels slightly matte. However, after a few hours, your skin's natural oils blend in, creating a lovely subtle glow. It gets better after the initial application. Even when I have small bumps, they're quite noticeable at first, but become less visible over time. Of course, areas with strong lighting are an exception. - Great for Covering Redness: Without excessive layering, just gently patting it on helps naturally reduce the appearance of redness over time. However, it may not hold up as well in summer when your face heats up, which is a bit disappointing. - Conceals Dead Skin Cells: There's hardly any emphasis on flaky skin, providing a smooth cover even on dry areas. I'm particularly satisfied with this aspect! - User-Friendly: Even for makeup novices like myself with less-than-steady hands, this product is easy to use. I've been using this product consistently for 5 years - it's truly optimized for my skin... I pray it never gets discontinued. While skin types vary and it might not suit everyone, I'd recommend those struggling with skin blemishes to give it a try. It's even recommended by dermatologists. As mentioned above, it's not ideal for summer use. Redness can become more noticeable. Also, the lack of refills is a downside. Since it's an all-in-one design, you have to buy a new one each time. No additional comments. Just a tip: when you notice the cushion starting to separate, apply a generous amount of cream. Use the puff to really work your usual moisturizer into your skin. This helps reduce redness and keeps your skin hydrated. It's a win-win solution. - tn******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 24, 2025
I've come full circle and repurchased this! I love products that give a glow and prefer moisturizing cushions. However, I dislike feeling like my face is covered with a mask. This one sits lightly on the skin, provides decent coverage, has a beautiful wear-down, and covers pores effectively - which is a must for me. Even after trying all the highly-recommended cushions, I always find myself coming back to Laneige. The way it wears throughout the day is truly beautiful! The only downside is the packaging. It's hard to tell how much product is left, so when I think it's running low, I keep it for home use and always make sure to have a spare on hand. For pore coverage, try gently pressing and blending with the puff as if you're filling in the pores. This technique beautifully covers pores while maintaining a light application. - yo************Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 28, 2024
It absorbs so well without any pilling, even when applied quickly! There was no deep dryness, and it worked wonders for my oily skin. The coverage is practically non-existent. It feels more like a brightening moisturizer than a cushion foundation. - sw********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 14, 2024
I bought the Renoderm Gold (21-23 shade) since it was recommended for my shade 22 skin tone. I'd heard it tends to appear a bit light, so I tested it on the back of my hand before purchasing. On me, it does look a bit pale. The color might not be a perfect match as it has a grayish tint, making the line between my face and neck quite noticeable for everyday wear. However, it works well for touch-ups. I'd recommend the Renoderm BB Cushion Gold for those with shade 21 skin as well. *Pump-type cushion Unlike other cushions, this one dispenses product in small amounts when pressed. Apply by gently pressing small amounts onto your face and patting it in. *Coverage It covers minor blemishes to some extent, but doesn't conceal darker spots. I always use concealer for my dark circles before applying this. The coverage is medium, I'd say. *Touch-ups blend well without caking It's definitely moisturizing! Achieves that desired Inner Glow, giving the illusion of naturally good skin. The glossy case easily collects fingerprints, making it look messy. There are no refills available, so you need to buy the whole product again when it runs out. Disappointed that it only comes with one cushion puff. Be careful when cleaning the pump-type dispenser after use. If you're not gentle, you might accidentally dispense more product! The Renoderm BB Cushion can give even dry, flaky skin a glowing finish! First, use concealer to cover dark circles and redness around the nose. Then, layer the cushion on your cheekbones, forehead, nose, and chin to complete your look! - de********Combination SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJul 14, 2024
The ingredients are better than those in regular foundations. I keep using it because of its great formulation. It's a bit too oily for summer... I'm considering switching to a matte cushion, but the oiliness might be the same issue. Gently pat it on with the puff, and give an extra tap on the forehead and smile lines. - s1***Dry SkinDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 3, 2024
This cushion is a game-changer! I've gone through several of these. It's incredibly hydrating and gives that coveted 'Inner Glow' while providing just the right amount of coverage. The way it adheres to the skin is remarkable - I've never had issues with it looking cakey or unnatural. The squeeze-tube design makes it tricky to gauge how much product is left. Also, the shade runs slightly dark for my complexion. For the best deal, try to snag this during group buy events! - ji*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 15, 2024
It covers pores to some extent while looking natural. I've been using this without any major blemishes. Despite having super sensitive skin and being worried about the ingredients not being the best, I'm satisfied and am currently on my third bottle! Even when it fades, it does so beautifully. There's a slight darkening effect, but it's not severe and easy to touch up, so it's hard to consider it a major drawback. The price point is a bit high, and it would be great if the ingredients could be improved!
