  Pros

  This was my first time trying TONYMOLY skincare products, and they were better than I expected. While the case wasn't brimming with essence, the pads were well-saturated, providing a noticeable boost in hydration and moisture to my face. Despite being embossed, the pads had surprisingly good adherence - they stayed put even when I flipped my hand over. This made them convenient to use as a mask, and they also had a nice cooling effect. The finish was similar to using a creamy toner, but I appreciated that once the essence was fully absorbed, there was no sticky residue left behind.

  Cons

  The slightly rich finish felt a bit heavy during summer, so I only used these in winter months.

  Tony Moly Wonder Ceramide Mochi Toner Pads contain centella asiatica extract. This makes them excellent for soothing blemishes and calming the skin. The soothing effect is so good that I've been using them as a toner mask lately. These are incredibly gentle toner pads, and they're super convenient since you don't need to use a separate cotton pad - just place them directly on your cheeks. They're also hygienic, which is great. The pads are double-sided and gentle enough for regular use.

  Cons

  It would be nice if the container was transparent, so we could easily see when we're running low and stock up in advance.

  Tip

  After cleansing, leave them on your face for 10 minutes. If you're after soft, supple skin, you should definitely get these.

  I didn't really have any issues with it. The pads aren't extremely soft, but they're not rough enough to consider it a significant drawback.

  Storing it in the refrigerator enhances the soothing and cooling effects! I also found it beneficial to leave it on the skin for 5-8 minutes like a mask.

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers! The good points are, first of all, it's convenient! It comes with tweezers inside. It feels softer and more hydrating than I expected when using it. My skin, which had been acting up for some reason, seems to be slowly improving. Even though I have very oily skin... I like that this makes my skin feel moisturized rather than slippery. I think I'll use it again.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it's defective or if it's supposed to be like this, but the cover part where you put the tweezers? It seems like it should fit snugly into the container and the lid should close, but... it doesn't fit well. You have to really force it to close, and you need to use strength to open it... I just close it loosely when I use it. Also, the scent... For me, it smells more like makeup than skincare products.

  Tony Moly's ingredients are really great these days! It suited my skin well without causing any blemishes. The hydration was amazing - I use it as a toner and the moisture lasts so long, keeping my skin from feeling dry. It works great with the next steps in my routine, creating a nice synergy effect. My emulsions and creams absorb so well after using this! Oh, and the scent! It's an essential oil blend. I personally love it - it has a strong rosewood oil fragrance. It's surprisingly intense, almost as strong as an artificial scent. But it's not overwhelming when applied to the face, leaving a subtle lingering aroma. If you're sensitive to fragrances, I'd recommend testing it in-store first. I also appreciate the hygienic packaging with individually wrapped clips and caps. So happy to have found such a great product!

  The amount of toner essence inside wasn't as much as I expected. It's really, really thin in there. For those who had high hopes like me, I strongly suggest lowering your expectations before opening the lid.

  Tip

  These days I only do my eyebrows and skip other makeup, so I've been using this for light cleansing too.

  Pros

  My skin type is combination dehydrated and prone to blemishes! I loved that when I first opened the box, the inner cap and tweezers were separately enclosed! The inner cap is made of silicone, so it fits snugly without being loose. There's no worry about liquid leaking, and it's great at keeping air out, which is super convenient. Usually, other pads don't have a designated spot for the tweezers even if they come with them, but the Mochi Pads do, and I absolutely love that! I appreciated how thick the pads themselves are. Thin pads tend to get fuzzy quickly, but that wasn't the case with the Mochi Pads! True to its name 'Mochi', it felt pleasantly firm as it glided across my skin! It gave me the impression that the toner was absorbing really well! It seems to have a good calming effect! I had some small pimples pop up, so I used it morning and night, and it seemed to make a difference! Overall, I was extremely satisfied!

  Cons

  Because the pads are thick, I found myself wishing there was a bit more toner. Since the toner settles at the bottom of the container, the pads on top felt less moisturized at first. That was a bit disappointing.

  Tip

  Try soaking the pads thoroughly in the toner at the bottom of the container and use them for a toner mask!

  I was thrilled when the Mochi Toner Pads were released, as the original Mochi Toner was a winter essential! The pads have both an embossed side and a smooth side, making it convenient to refine skin texture with just one pad on busy mornings. It leaves the skin feeling firm and is perfect for dry seasons, giving a sense of strengthened skin barrier! The photos show my skin before use and after a week of use. The double-lid design also ensures peace of mind even when the container is turned upside down!

  This product seems to focus more on hydration than freshness. While it's not always the case, sometimes my cheeks feel a bit tingly after using the pads. The toner itself has a heavier feel, so I might not reach for it as often during warmer seasons.

  Tip

  I usually use toner pads by sticking them on my cheeks while blow-drying my hair, but with this product, the pads are quite thick. When applied to the cheeks, the edges tend to lift, so you need to be careful to keep them from falling off.

  I actually started with Tony Moly's Mocchi Toner and then switched to the very similar Vita Halo Toner, which I've been using exclusively for my skincare routine for years now. As someone who has used (and loved) the Tony Moly toner, I found this pad format to be definitely convenient. It's great not having to pour it into my hands and pat it on my face, or separately soak cotton pads. The product effectiveness is excellent - just like what I'm used to. It doesn't cause any blemishes, provides good hydration, and works wonderfully overall.

  Cons

  1. The quantity is limited. If you use it daily on three areas of your face, it might last about 3 weeks. I used up half the container just during the Hwahae Testers trial period. 2. The pads are disappointing. They tend to get fuzzy and are too thick, so they don't adhere well when applied. I used to use thin, non-woven fabric-like pads soaked in toner, which stayed put. It makes me wonder if there's really a need to buy a separate pad product.

  Tip

  You can find Vita Halo Toner on Coupang. The formula is identical, but it has a much higher ceramide content and is significantly cheaper. I buy that one and use it liberally - applying it three times each morning and evening, and even using it for masks.

  Hello! As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'll provide an honest and thorough review. Since I often skip toner application after washing my face due to the hassle of using cotton pads, I found this product convenient to use daily for 7 days by simply opening the lid and wiping right after cleansing. The included tongs allowed for hygienic use, which I appreciated. Despite my super sensitive skin, it left my skin hydrated without irritation or stickiness, giving a fresh finish. I've been experiencing a few blemishes lately, but using these toner pads definitely had a calming effect on my skin. Looking at the ingredients, I found Centella Asiatica extract, panthenol, hyaluronic acid, and even ceramides! It's packed with great ingredients! This product is perfect for both soothing the skin and replenishing moisture all in one, eliminating the need for multiple products. I've always had positive experiences with TONYMOLY products since I was young, and this one doesn't disappoint. I've attached before and after photos of using the toner pad on the back of my hand. You can clearly see how much more hydrated the skin becomes after using the pad.
