Pros
The Tonymoly basic products were better than I expected when I tried them for the first time. The essence didn't slosh around inside the case, but the pad had absorbed a lot of the essence, so my face felt very moisturized and well-hydrated. I didn't expect much adhesion from the embossed pad, but it stuck to the back of my hand so well that it didn't fall off even when I flipped my hand over, so it was easy to use like a sheet mask, and it had a nice cooling sensation too. The finish was similar to when I used a creamy toner, but after fully absorbing the essence, there was no sticky residue left behind, which I liked.
Cons
The finish had a slightly oily feel, so it felt a bit stuffy in the summer, so I only used it in the winter.

Convenient > It was great that I could use the toner-soaked cotton pads instead of having to pour the toner myself. The tongs made it easy to take out the pads. Finish > The pads were very moist, and after wiping, my skin felt plump and soothed. I could definitely feel the cooling effect on my skin, which was great!! Moisture, Texture > Since it's such a hydrating product, the moisturizing effect was a big plus. I also liked how the pads adhered well to my skin. The skin-soothing effect was the best part, and I liked that I could use it like a toner or as a mask-like pack on my skin. The lemon-like scent was personally pleasant to me! As I mentioned, the cooling and soothing sensation was great. I'll definitely buy this again.

These days, the ingredients in Tony Moly products are really good ♡ They were stable and suited my skin well without any trouble! And the moisture content was amazing 😍 I've been using it as a substitute for toner, and the moisture lasts a long time, so my skin doesn't get dry and it's great~~~~!! After using the toner, the synergy effect with the next steps is also good, and the lotion and cream absorb well 😆❤ Ah, and the fragrance! It's an essential oil blend. My skin type is combination and I often have breakouts! ✔ I was pleased that the inner cap and tweezers were included separately when I first opened the box! ✔ The inner cap is made of silicone material, so it fits snugly without any leakage, and it also blocks air very well, which is very convenient. ✔ Usually, other pads have tweezers, but there is nowhere to place them, but the Mochi Pad has a designated spot for the tweezers, which I really liked! ✔ The pad itself is thick, which I liked. When the Mochi Toner was first released, it was a must-have item for the winter, but I was really happy to see it come out as a toner pad. The pad has both an embossed side and a smooth side, so it's easy to use this one pad to smooth out your skin in the busy morning. It makes your skin feel plump and supple, and it really suits the dry season - it gives you the feeling of a strengthened skin barrier! The photos show the before and one week after using it. The lid is also double-layered, so you don't have to worry about it flipping over when you put it down.

I actually started with the Tony Moly Mochi Toner and then switched to a very similar Vitaholic Toner, and I've been using just that for skincare for n years now. As someone who has used the Tony Moly Toner (very well), the product being absorbed into the pads was certainly convenient. I liked that I didn't have to pour the product into my hands and then pat it onto my face, or separately soak a cotton pad and apply it. In terms of product performance, given that I've been using it regularly, it hasn't caused any trouble, keeps my skin well-moisturized, and has been great.
Cons
1. The volume is small. If I use it to apply to three areas of my face daily, it will likely last only 3 weeks. I used up half a bottle just during the Hwahae Trial Reviewer test. 2. The pads are disappointing. They easily form fuzz and are too thick, so they tend to fall off when applied. I used to soak thin non-woven pads and apply them, and they wouldn't fall off... So I'm not sure if I really need to buy a dedicated pad product.
Tip
There is a Vitaholic Toner on Coupang. The formulation is exactly the same, but the ceramide content is much higher, and the price is much lower. I've been buying that and applying it three times a day, morning and night, and using it as a face pack as well.

Hello, as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I will leave an honest and detailed review! 😃 After washing my face, I used to find it troublesome to soak a cotton pad with toner and wipe it off, so I would often skip that step. However, this product makes it so easy - you just open the lid and wipe it on right after cleansing, and I used it diligently for 7 days. I liked that it came with a pair of tweezers, allowing me to use it in a hygienic way. Even though I have sensitive skin, it didn't cause any irritation and left my skin feeling moisturized, non-sticky, and refreshed. I've been getting a pimple or two lately, and using the toner pads has really helped soothe my skin. Looking at the ingredients, I saw that it contains centella extract, as well as panthenol, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides! It has so many great ingredients that I didn't need to use multiple products - this one step could both calm my skin and provide hydration. I've been using Tonymoly products since I was young, and I still find them to be great. I've attached before and after photos of wiping the back of my hand with the toner pad. You can definitely see how much more moisturized my skin looks afterwards.😃💙
