This was my first time trying TONYMOLY skincare products, and they were better than I expected. While the case wasn't brimming with essence, the pads were well-saturated, providing a noticeable boost in hydration and moisture to my face. Despite being embossed, the pads had surprisingly good adherence - they stayed put even when I flipped my hand over. This made them convenient to use as a mask, and they also had a nice cooling effect. The finish was similar to using a creamy toner, but I appreciated that once the essence was fully absorbed, there was no sticky residue left behind. The mochi-like pads were surprisingly gentle! They're thick with an embossed texture, which made them feel non-irritating. I loved that my skin didn't dry out immediately after use. Instead, it felt moisturized, almost as if I'd applied toner twice. The toner inside has a white, slightly sticky consistency. This can lead to some pilling, so I wouldn't recommend using it before makeup. It's better suited for use after your evening cleanse.

The scent isn't overpowering, and it's packed with hydration. As soon as you apply it, you can feel the moisture being absorbed into your skin. While the fragrance isn't strong, it's not a typical cosmetic scent. It has an odd smell that makes me wish it were unscented instead. I find it works best when I apply it to my cheeks and forehead for about 10 minutes before doing my makeup. It seems to help my makeup go on more smoothly, so I often use it as part of my pre-outing routine.

I'm pleased that they contain the same toner I love. They're wonderfully moisturizing! The pad's surface feels a bit rough, so it can be slightly irritating on days when my skin is super sensitive. It's absolutely amazing!! When I have a lot of blemishes, I stick these Mochi pads on my face for about 5 minutes. After removing them, the areas with many blemishes calm down and improve a bit. So I use these Mochi pads whenever I feel a breakout coming! It was my first time trying pads, so I was quite worried, but I'm so relieved they work perfectly for me!! Since they're pads, the exfoliating toner might be a bit irritating to the skin, so I wouldn't recommend them for those with super sensitive skin... haha
