I recommend using this product with oily skin in the winter!
Since it has an oily texture, it could potentially cause blemishes if you apply too much, so it's better to use a moderate amount rather than a heavy application.

I purchased this product in the summer and tried it, and I'm planning to use it again in the winter.
At first, I was a bit surprised by how oily it felt. When I applied and rolled it on my skin, I could really feel the greasiness. This was a bit disappointing.
For dry skin, this product could be used year-round. 
As for me, I'll have to use it more in the winter to really know, but I think for oily skin, applying too much could potentially lead to breakouts.

I thought this product would be more suitable for oily skin types in winter than summer, as it has an oily texture.
The oily texture is present, but applying the right amount doesn't cause the skin to become overloaded or develop blemishes. The ingredients are good.

The feel when applying is not great... It feels quite oily on the face. If you've tried the Innisfree sun milk, it might feel similar. It's not a major issue, but I'm noting the feel for those reading this review.

I chose this product because I wanted a lighter texture than a lotion. It comes out almost watery, so I was worried it might not be moisturizing enough. But when I applied it to my face, it had the right amount of oil, not just pure moisture. That's probably why the moisturization is sufficient. This is my first time using an emulsion, and I like the texture much more than lotions or creams.
Creams or lotions often feel too sticky or heavy after application, as they tend to use silicones to improve the feel. I really disliked that. 
The absorption is good, the feel is nice, and there's no oiliness on my face. I'm very satisfied. I didn't feel like the moisturization was severely lacking, but for those with extremely dry skin, using this with an essence or a light ampoule might be a good idea.

When using other cosmetics, I would experience dryness over time that became irritating and too tight, but this lotion takes care of the dryness with just one application, and the moisturization is great. I'm really happy with it. The volume is also generous.

The abundant moisturizing effect also comes with a slight oiliness, so if you use it in the summer, oily skin types may experience excessive sebum production. However, oily skin types tend to be prone to oil regardless of what they use, so it's unavoidable.

I have sensitive and combination skin. While I'm not physically sensitive (the mask doesn't flip over even after wearing it for a long time and sweating), I'm quite sensitive to chemical cosmetics, so I tend to be very careful and selective in choosing them. In the past, I used to have a lot of acne (in my early 20s), but now I have a combination skin type with just some clogged pores. However, whenever I use creams/lotions that don't match the season or clog my pores, I still get a big pimple or two, or a bunch of small bumps. That's why I always get so anxious when I have to switch lotions (usually due to discontinuation..ㅠ) - I'm worried my skin will go haywire.
I always scrutinize the ingredients and read a lot of reviews before buying, and I think I made a great choice this time! I've been using this morning and night for the past two weeks, and I haven't had any issues at all. It's moisturizing, and there's no itchiness after application.
I'm just using this with my aloe, but for those with drier skin (even oily skin needs hydration in the winter), using this with an essence would probably be great. I haven't tried the essence yet, but since it's from the same line, I'm confident in it too.

I came to write a review hoping that the product will not be discontinued.
My skin was turning over and recovering, going through this cycle repeatedly.
But after reading the reviews, I decided to purchase it.
It was exactly the type of product I was looking for and I am very satisfied with it.
It was moisturizing but not overly oily, just the right amount.
I will likely repurchase it once I finish this one.

 - After completing my COVID-19 vaccinations earlier this year, about 1-2 months later, I started experiencing intense itching in specific areas of my body that was almost unbearable if I didn't scratch it. (As my parents, who are skeptical of vaccines, also experienced the same symptoms, we have been suspecting the vaccine as the cause.)
- The problem is that when I scratched the affected areas, they would swell up like mosquito bites or hives, bleed, and the itching would not subside at all.
- At some point, I started mindlessly applying the leftover product from my face routine to the itchy areas after washing. After about a week of repeating this habit,
- the reddened areas gradually stopped itching and began to turn a brownish color, settling down.
- I had scratched the areas so aggressively that the discoloration lasted for another 2-3 weeks, but after that, my skin returned to its previous clear state.
- I experienced a similar symptom once more, and I immediately applied this product again. Within a week, the condition started improving, and my skin is now clear again.
- My mom had also scratched her chest area so intensely that it looked unsightly, so I gave her the product I was using, and she experienced the same beneficial effects. I'm now ordering a new one for her.
- The cause and the results may be anecdotal, but if the same symptoms recur, I will confidently use this lotion, as I believe it will help resolve the issue.

 - While the name 'Dr.G' may give the impression of an expensive product, the price doesn't seem unreasonable considering the quality.

- It has a lightweight, moisture-filled, and ultra-thin oil protective layer that keeps the skin feeling hydrated all day long.
- After the discontinuation of the Aveda Sensitive Lotion, botanical options have not been satisfactory for those leading a nomadic lifestyle. Aside from being slightly thinner in texture, the usage experience, finish, and effectiveness are remarkably similar. (Have you ever experienced breakouts or seen a sad creature because of the formula? I have!!!! That's why I can never lose a good thing...)
- The price is almost half of the Aveda product, isn't it?
- While ingredients aren't everything, the safety of the formula puts my mind at ease, and my skin actually feels stronger the more I use it.
- Many people say 'slather it on', but even with the moderate amount I apply, I never have to worry about breakouts. This formula is so undemanding that you can be generous with the application, and it absorbs quickly without any issues.
- As someone who is very sensitive to scents, I'm extremely satisfied with the fragrance-free formula.
- Despite the lightweight texture, it provides substantial moisture and hydration, so I use it year-round. I'm on my 5th bottle since last year.
- In the summer, I use this as my sole base, and in the winter, I'm often fine with just this on its own. But on drier days, I'll add a serum and use a hydrating sunscreen (not the one that starts off hydrating but then somehow becomes drying later on (the Dear, Klairs Airy Sun Cream)) and that's all I need without any other skincare.

 After balancing the oil-moisture with the emulsion, be sure to apply a suitable cream as a protective moisture barrier...
(In the middle of winter, if you just use the emulsion as the final step, your skin will feel tight.)

 This skin+emulsion combo of the line is so great, but why is Dr.G only giving out irrelevant samples for online purchases?

I've tried almost the entire Blemish line (green) that Dr.G is pushing as their main line, but this sky-blue line is way better!!!!!

As a combination-sensitive skin with frequent breakouts, when I use the same line of toner+emulsion from any brand, it's either too light or over-nourishing, causing breakouts, so I don't usually buy sets.

But the Dr.G Hydra Aqua skin+emulsion combo hydrates me deeply without feeling heavy!
Through adjusting the amounts, it maintains a great oil-moisture balance that works well all year round!!!!

I have no relation to Dr.G, but I sincerely hope this line becomes more widely known so that it's easily available offline too! I hope it doesn't get discontinued!

I used to love the Dr.G Blemish line toner+emulsion, but as the season changed, I felt it was getting too drying, so I decided to try something new.

The new number 3 toner and the basic products work so well together, I'm extremely satisfied!!!

It's more hydrating than the Blemish line and doesn't cause excessive T-zone oiliness, so I think I'll keep repurchasing this as my daily staple.💙
