Hmm... When using a larger amount compared to other products, there's noticeable improvement in hair texture. When applied in the same quantity as similar products, there's absolutely no sense of hair texture improvement. I did a comparison test using equal amounts of Moremo 10 and Nine Coating in measuring cups. After towel-drying, I massaged each product into half of my hair and left it under a hair cap. Nine Coating showed no improvement, while Moremo 10 made my hair slightly softer. When using this product, it feels more stiff than soft. Due to its watery consistency, it's hard to tell how much has been applied. Using 2-3 times more than other products results in a noticeable softness. With extremely damaged hair from repeated bleaching and coloring, plus long hair with high density, using about 1/5 of the bottle at once provides a soft feel. - je*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 26, 2022
I was eager to try the water treatment and bought it on sale from the Tteurimall, but it's truly disappointing. It's amazing how even applying it generously doesn't make my hair softer. It doesn't even deserve one star. The not-so-secret secret is that I used up a whole bottle in just 4 days! Sigh... No matter how much I use, my hair doesn't become soft. Instead, it makes brushing incredibly difficult! It's such a struggle to comb through my hair after using this product. If only I had checked the reviews on Hwahae earlier, I could have saved my money. I deeply regret this purchase! I still have one bottle left and I'm not sure whether to throw it away or what to do with it. - vi********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 1, 2022
I love that it's not sticky at all. The scent is quite nice too. I'm definitely considering repurchasing. I'm not sure yet... The fragrance might be a bit headache-inducing? I wish it was just a tad milder. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 17, 2021
I started using this with zero expectations, which might be why I found it incredibly effective. My hair is very curly, so I get regular straightening treatments. Although I've moved on from the 'broomstick' look thanks to restorative treatments, my hair is still somewhat damaged. To make matters worse, as my gray hairs started coming in, the itchiness became unbearable. I had to switch from a damaged hair shampoo to a scalp care one, which left my hair feeling extremely stiff. However, after generously applying this product and rinsing, the stiffness noticeably reduced. When rinsing, my fingers glide through my hair without any snags. I use this along with other essences and leave-in treatments before blow-drying, and I'm quite satisfied with the results even at this level. I'm already on my fourth bottle! The liquid formula is a bit of a double-edged sword - convenient in some ways, inconvenient in others. I think a pump-type dispenser might have been more user-friendly. - bm*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2020
The delivery was quick... I was full of anticipation. My hair feels strangely stiff... Even though I followed the instructions, it's not good at all... - zz*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityOct 26, 2020
Haha, I really wonder why I bought this... It has absolutely no treatment effect. I have long hair that reaches my waist. When I first spray it, there's a warming sensation, but maybe because I've used similar products from other brands and seen great results, I had high expectations. The warmth barely appears and then disappears in an instant. Sigh! There's absolutely zero effect, and the volume is way too small. Those with long hair will be crying! - th******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 12, 2020
I started using this product because my hair condition wasn't great. The consistency is quite thin, so I wasn't sure if it was applying well or if it would be effective. However, after washing my hair, I could feel that it had become softer than before. While the results aren't as dramatic as the advertisements suggest, it does seem to have some effect in protecting the hair's texture. The watery consistency makes it a bit inconvenient to use. It's also on the pricier side, and I'm not sure if the effects justify the cost. I think it would be difficult to improve hair texture using this product alone. - gr**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2020
My hair is quite damaged and frizzy from frequent coloring. This water treatment is reasonably priced for what it offers. It provides a slight improvement to hair texture, though not a dramatic transformation. The performance is somewhat disappointing. It's far from sufficient for severely damaged hair, so I ended up using it generously just to finish the product. It might be more beneficial for maintaining already healthy hair. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 15, 2020
It absorbs well without feeling sticky. The texture is silky smooth like seaweed, and it leaves your skin feeling hydrated even after drying. The quantity seems small for the price, and since it's in liquid form, it runs out quickly depending on your hair thickness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2019
I've tried both Moremo and Nine Coating. Compared to Moremo, Nine Coating has a better scent. The effects seem similar (I used it 2-3 times a week after shampooing on damp hair, and it eliminates dryness). While it might not transform your hair from 'broomstick' to 'silky seaweed', it can definitely upgrade it to a 'soft, expensive broomstick'. I bought it on sale, so the price was reasonable, but I wouldn't pay full price (sale price was around $15). When not in use, it reverts to 'broomstick' texture, but it's still better than before using it. Considering that even after a salon treatment, the protein/coating starts to wear off after just 2-3 washes, it seems better to invest in home care. If I had to choose between Moremo Water Essence and Treetroom Nine Water Treatment, I'd go for whichever is cheaper at the time of purchase (I don't notice a significant difference in effectiveness).
