  I've tried many foundations, but Laneige Neo Foundation really stands out in terms of design, application, and longevity. It's become a go-to product for me. Especially nowadays, with mask-wearing, I prefer bases with good adherence and staying power, and Neo Foundation really delivers in that aspect. 1. Semi-matte finish + Excellent adherence It's not completely matte, but rather a semi-matte formula that leaves a slight glow while still feeling powdery. Even without powder, it finishes cleanly without shine, so it doesn't transfer much when wearing a mask and has great longevity. 2. Light and thin application with medium-high coverage The application is incredibly smooth, and even one thin layer evens out skin texture beautifully. It's particularly good at covering redness and blemishes without concealer, making it perfect for daily use. If you want more coverage, you can layer it without it looking thick - it adheres naturally. 3. Graceful wear-off and excellent lasting power Over time, it doesn't separate or clump unattractively, but fades naturally and beautifully. Even in oily areas like around the nose and chin, it adheres well, often lasting until afternoon without touch-ups. 4. Sophisticated packaging + Good portability The stylish case design is a plus! The magnetic cap makes it easy to open and close, and the container is light, making it convenient to carry. The pump-type dispenser is hygienic and makes it easy to control the amount. 5. Wide range of color shades Unusually for Korean foundations, it offers a variety of cool/warm/neutral shades, making it easier to match your complexion. It's one of those products where it's easy to find a color that perfectly matches your skin tone.

  Cons

  1. May be drying for dry skin As it's not a very hydrating formula, those with dry skin should definitely use a moisturizing base or primer first. Otherwise, you might feel tightness or notice dead skin cells becoming more visible over time. 2. Coverage for pores and texture might be disappointing While the coverage is medium-high, it may accentuate pores and texture. Especially in areas with large pores, it can look slightly unnatural if you don't use a separate primer as a base. 3. Quick setting - Can streak if you're not skilled at blending As it sets quite quickly, it's important to blend immediately after applying small amounts. If you try to apply it all over your face at once, it can streak or separate, so it's more suitable for those familiar with base products rather than beginners.

  As someone with an autumn warm dark personal color, I absolutely love this foundation! It covers so naturally without clashing with my complexion, which is fantastic! The foundation itself isn't too heavy and has a moisturizing formula, allowing it to adhere thinly and lightly to the skin. It absorbs well too! Even after some time, it doesn't really pill. While the coverage isn't mind-blowingly full, if your skin isn't too problematic, you can achieve a decent level of coverage when applied with concealer. I actually prefer how it creates a natural, clean look!

  Cons

  As much as I appreciate how thinly it applies, I can't say it has exceptional staying power or that it's completely free from darkening. However, with some touch-ups here and there, it's manageable enough that using it isn't inconvenient.

  Using a spatula to apply the foundation can help it adhere even more thinly and seamlessly to your skin!

  Pros

  First off, it applies thinly and evenly, and the staying power is absolutely incredible! It seems to set quickly too. Even after being out for a long time, it doesn't break down... and even if it does, it fades beautifully. I'm really impressed with that.

  Cons

  The downside is that since it's a matte product, it might accentuate dead skin cells. Those with dry or combination dehydrated skin should probably make sure to have a solid skincare routine as a base.

  It applies smoothly without feeling too thick, and the coverage is pretty decent! It goes on soft and sets to a semi-matte finish, making it great for summer wear!

  Cons

  I have about a #22 complexion, and while it doesn't look cakey or unnatural right after application, there is some darkening. It's not a cool tone, but has a slight yellow undertone, so when it darkens, it makes me look a bit warmer, which is unfortunate.

  Tip

  In winter, mixing it with a hydrating BB cream creates a really beautiful skin finish!
