I've tried many foundations, but Laneige Neo Foundation really stands out in terms of design, application, and longevity. It's become a go-to product for me. Especially nowadays, with mask-wearing, I prefer bases with good adherence and staying power, and Neo Foundation really delivers in that aspect. 1. Semi-matte finish + Excellent adherence It's not completely matte, but rather a semi-matte formula that leaves a slight glow while still feeling powdery. Even without powder, it finishes cleanly without shine, so it doesn't transfer much when wearing a mask and has great longevity. 2. Light and thin application with medium-high coverage The application is incredibly smooth, and even one thin layer evens out skin texture beautifully. It's particularly good at covering redness and blemishes without concealer, making it perfect for daily use. If you want more coverage, you can layer it without it looking thick - it adheres naturally. 3. Graceful wear-off and excellent lasting power Over time, it doesn't separate or clump unattractively, but fades naturally and beautifully. Even in oily areas like around the nose and chin, it adheres well, often lasting until afternoon without touch-ups. 4. Sophisticated packaging + Good portability The stylish case design is a plus! The magnetic cap makes it easy to open and close, and the container is light, making it convenient to carry. The pump-type dispenser is hygienic and makes it easy to control the amount. 5. Wide range of color shades Unusually for Korean foundations, it offers a variety of cool/warm/neutral shades, making it easier to match your complexion. It's one of those products where it's easy to find a color that perfectly matches your skin tone. 1. May be drying for dry skin As it's not a very hydrating formula, those with dry skin should definitely use a moisturizing base or primer first. Otherwise, you might feel tightness or notice dead skin cells becoming more visible over time. 2. Coverage for pores and texture might be disappointing While the coverage is medium-high, it may accentuate pores and texture. Especially in areas with large pores, it can look slightly unnatural if you don't use a separate primer as a base. 3. Quick setting - Can streak if you're not skilled at blending As it sets quite quickly, it's important to blend immediately after applying small amounts. The color payoff and shades are beautiful. The packaging has a magnetic closure, giving it a luxurious feel. It might be challenging to use for those with dry or textured skin. I've been using this since 2022 until now. My skin type is combination dehydrated. I have redness and sensitive skin, so if I use the wrong product, blemishes appear. I tried BB creams before settling on this one. The coverage and adherence are good, but if you skimp on skincare, your complexion might look a bit off! You need to do thorough skincare for a beautiful complexion. It's on the matte side, so not recommended for dry skin. While the coverage isn't particularly high, it builds up nicely without feeling thick! The adherence is a bit weak, so there's some transfer. Apart from the slight disappointment of transfer, it suits my sensitive skin perfectly and doesn't cause any blemishes, so I can't switch to any other foundation. I received a sample of this along with the Glow version and tried it out. I was surprised at how much darker it looked on the back of my hand compared to Glow, but when applied to my face, it blended naturally and harmonized well with my complexion. It provides decent coverage for blemishes and does a good job of minimizing the appearance of pores. Given its matte finish, it does tend to accentuate dead skin cells around the nose area. If you're prone to rhinitis and using this in winter, pay extra attention to your nose area.

It beautifully enhances skin texture and adheres well to the skin. Initially, it feels moisturizing. The matte finish makes me worry that it might dry out my skin.
